Note: Careful selection of a capstone chairperson is important, as the student and chairperson will develop a plan of study and work closely throughout the process .
  • Student selects a Capstone Committee (usually includes at least three faculty members, one of whom is the Capstone Chairperson).
  • Student earns eligibility to defend the capstone proposal (the proposal must be formally approved by all Committee members).

Systematic Reviews are scholarly articles that identify and synthesize the literature available to answer a particular research question. A systematic review may include a Meta Analysis , which is an analysis of data from several different trials.
