Emvoice One comes with four voices – Keela, Lucy, Jay, and Thomas. Each voice character has different vocal ranges and abilities.

For example, Keela is an excellent choice for pop songs, while the characters Jay or Thomas might fit well for an EDM song.

These voices are created from samples of real singers, with phonemes and syllables updated often to give the plugin more range and depth in speech synthesis.

It’s easy to get started with Emvoice One. Head to their website to download the plugin and add it to your DAW’s list of VSTs.

Since it’s a cloud-based plugin, you’ll need a good internet connection. It’s available for Windows and Mac Operating Systems.

Once you’ve set it up, you can access it from the plugin list of your DAW.

As shown in the picture below, I’m using FL Studio to show how the plugin works.

To create music, you need to add notes in the MIDI and then double-click to add the text.

For example, I wrote “love is a joke” as my text using Lucy’s voice and made some adjustments to the notes to make it sound interesting.

With Emvoice One, you can add various effects to the voice, such as octaves and tuning.

It also allows you to adjust the tempo and time signatures.

After making some tweaks and adding beats to the voice, I got the following output.

The Pros of Emvoice One

The Cons of Emvoice One

• Emvoice One only has four voices to choose from, so you may not find the variety you’re looking for.
• Some of the pronunciations need to be adjusted to sound clear. For example, you might have to write ‘eye’ instead of ‘I’ in some notes so the vocals don’t sound ambiguous.
• Lastly, this plugin does not work offline.

Emvoice One is paid software. When on sale, you can get it for a discounted price.

Each voice is priced differently, so you can choose the one that works for you and don’t have to pay for all sound banks.

You can also test the voices out for free with its demo version.

The demo version of Emvoice One only allows you to use eight notes, but you can use it in commercial projects without restrictions.

2. Vocaloid 6 (Paid)

Vocaloid 6 is an AI speech synthesizer developed by Yamaha.

The downside of using AI is it will take more of your computer’s processing power. So for its clutterless working, you’ll have to have a system with 8 GB of RAM. 4 GB is the required minimum.

The latest version of Vocaloid comes with four new voicebanks: Haruka, Akito, Allen, and Sarah.

While Haruka and Akito have Japanese singing capabilities, Allen and Sarah are focused more on English singing/rapping.

These voicebanks can be adapted to any music genre due to the optimization capabilities of the plugin.

Installing Vocaloid is easy. Download the installation file from their website and install it on your PC.

Inside your DAW, open the Vocaloid editor, where you can enter performance data and the voice bank to select the voices you want to use.

Then click the Inspector button to control the voice, effects, and presets. Test the keyboard to make sure the voice matches the keys.

Add some melody to the keyboard. Finally, add the song’s lyrics for the plugin to generate vocals.

3. Chipspeech (Paid)

Chipspeech is a plugin developed by Plogue Art et Technologie, Inc. It synthesizes speech that sounds more vintage and exquisite.

It can work with DAWs running on Windows and Mac OS and is flexible, supporting audio emulations and allowing you to create unique electronic vocals.

The Chipspeech plugin has an organized interface with separate layers for words, controls, modulation, and mixing.

This makes it easy for you to experiment with and create unique vocal sounds.

All you need to do is type the words you want to synthesize, and the plugin will convert them into 12 distinct voices with different tonal qualities.

You can then use these voices to add a special touch to the song you’re creating.

You can use Chipspeech standalone or by loading the plugin into your DAW.

Connect your MIDI instrument to the plugin to make your music unique to generate interesting musical chords and sequences.

Chipspeech provides 128 text channels to input words and play them whenever you want.

4. Alter/Ego (Free)

Alter/Ego is simply an extension of Chipspeech with the support of modern singing capabilities.

It is similar to Chipspeech, except it has new voices, effects, and languages.

While Chipspeech came with 12 different yet paid voices, Alter/Ego offers an entire voice bank for free.

The leading voice banks include Marie Ork 2, Alys, and Bones. Each of these voicebanks has distinct features based on their tonality.

Marie Ork 2 consists of voices you usually find in games and movies. It sounds monstrous, and they will be a quick favorite for dead metal enthusiasts.

If you need French-based music, try Alys. Alys is a virtual female singer developed by VoxWave. Alys is flexible in almost all music genres.

Bones is the latest addition to Alter/Ego, predominantly a male virtual singer that can speak in English and Japanese.

As seen in the above image, initially, when you open the plugin, it shows that no voice bank is loaded.

To add a voice bank, go to their website and download one of the zip files. After extracting, drag and drop the .xml file to the plugin.

For this example, I added Marie Ork 2 voicebank to the plugin.

After pulling the .xml file from the extracted folder to the interface, I got the following screen showing it’s “Successfully Installed.”

Similarly, you can download other voicebanks and follow the same steps to get new presets for Alter/Ego.

The Pros of Alter/Ego

• Similar features as Chipspeech.
• It supports English, Japanese, and French languages, while Chipspeech doesn’t have French voices in its plugin.
• It can help in making complex patterns for pop and death metal music.
• Alter/Ego is free, unlike Chipspeech. Hence, no license is required to use Alter/Ego.

The Cons of Alter/Ego

• Faced the same issues as Chipspeech, such as language ambiguity.
• Due to limited voices, there is little variety and ideas to explore. 
• The voices offered for Alter/Ego cannot be used in Chipspeech and vice-versa.

Also, it uses the idea of Software Automatic Mouth(SAM) as its base.

You need to type a text, and the plugin will convert it into a robotic voice.

You can install VST Speek quickly by pasting the .dll file in your DAW’s plugins folder. After a refresh, VST Speek will appear in your DAW’s plugin list, and you can use it from there.

How To Create Computerized Vocals In FL Studio Without Vocalist

In this tutorial, I will show you how you can make your computer to talk and use it in your electronic music. In FL Studio, there’s a Speech Synthesizer which renders a typed text to audio. Of course, it will sound a bit monotonous and machine like talk, but that might be exactly what you’re looking for. Use it with a good taste, and you can make your songs rock!

Here’s a sound example:

And this is how you create it.

Go to the the Channels -> Add one and select Speech synthesizer. Pop-up dialog will open (the Speech synthesizer is not a stand-alone instrument, it is a pop-up dialog that processes text to audio then renders the result as a sliced Audio Clip). In the text box you enter the text you want the speech synth to render to audio. Click the ‘Listen’ button to audition it. Under the Voice -section, there’s a various ways to change the characteristics of the voice such as the speed and pitch.

To make the voice sound like in the example, choose Robotoid (default) under the ‘Personality’ -menu and type the following text:

hello world fls(1) talking(-2) here you can make it talk if(-6) you(-6) want(-6)

If you wonder what those numbers enclosed in parentheses does, they change the pitch of a separate word by semitones. So the word “fls” is pitched up by one semitone, the word “talking” is pitched down by two semitones and so on.

Okay, moving on: leave the other settings as is, and press Accept. The entered text will be rendered to sliced audio clip (If you have changed some of the settings in the dialog, you will be prompted to save the preset with a new name. It will be saved as .speech (speech synthesizer) file. By default, it will be saved to “FL Studio\Data\Patches\Speech” -folder and you can import them to your future projects by locating the folder via the Browser, right clicking on the preset and choosing ‘Open in new Fruity Slicer channel’).

Now, the slices will be automatically dumped to Piano Roll as notes. Each slice is a word and you can move around, re-arrange and duplicate them as you like.

You can also edit the slices a little (such as slice fade in/out, pitch shift, slicing threshold, etc) by opening the Fruity Slicer.

Ok. To make the vocals in sync with the project tempo (and to replicate the example), head to the Piano Roll and edit the notes like this (turn on the metronome to make the syncing easier):

Alright. The vocals are sounding a bit too plain as is so assign the Slicer to a free mixer track and drop a Fruity Fast Dist to the effect slot and set it like this:

Also, add Fruity Blood Overdrive to the effect slot and set it as follows:

I’m not quite sure in what genre that drum beat actually falls into. I just quickly made it by laying a kick drum, snare to the Step Sequencer and drumloop (from Vengeance Essential House 2 sample collection) on top of it.

i didn t even know there was a speech recreation! i didn t use the distorion, but i found delay and hardcore with big gaps between words more appropriate for dance music thanks again

The 5 Best Text to Speech VST/AU Plugins (Free and Paid Options)

Text to speech plugins come in a few different forms. They all enable you to create synthetic voices on your computer from text.

1. Alter/Ego (Free)

We start off this list with a free plugin from Plogue. Alter/Ego comes in both VST and AU formats. You can also use it as standalone software, which is a nice feature.

This is a voice synth software and is based on Plogues Chipspeech platform which tries to emulate early 80s vintage hardware and it does it very well.

There are 3 voice banks for Alter/Ego – Marie Ork 2, Alys, and Bones.

Alter/Ego is a deep, vintage-sounding voice synthesizer.

It does need some time to get used to it and work out all the finesses this program has, but once you do it, you’ll end up with a powerful piece of software. And all of that for free!

VST Speek is a great little plugin that’s free and available for both Au and VST users. It emulates the work of S.A.M. for Commodore 64 and it provides the users with the original robotic voice we all know and love from the ’90s. Once you hear what this plugin has to offer, you’ll instantly be taken back to the arcade voices and rave/techno music scene of the early ’90s.

This is a simple plugin that is really easy to use as it doesn’t have too many parameters going on. You can type in your text or you can upload a text file for the program to read it. This is not the best sound quality plugin but it wasn’t meant to be, but to bring you the dirt and fun of those robotic voices.

If you’re a serious music producer, you know how much serious software can help in your everyday work. The same is said for vocal syncretization software. It’s OK to play and you can use some of the free stuff for quirky and playful details, but to get things done you need something more serious.

Vocaloid 5 is the 5th iteration of the Yamaha produced piece of software. It comes with a total of 4 voices – male and female in both Japanese and English. By the first look, you can see that this software has tons of options and is really made to be used by professionals who know what they are doing.

As for the options, you can find lots of different features that will help the synthesized voice to sound just like a human. Even though you can still notice that it’s not the same as the human voice, it can still be used in an everyday job in more and more situations. It’s available for both AU and VST, but you will need to pay a pretty sum of money to get it.

Phonem is one of the most popular vocal synthesizers. It was designed and made by Wolfgang Palm, one of the pioneers of this job and as such it holds pretty high standards of quality.

This is a standard speech synthesizer, which comes with tons of different options to completely control every aspect of your end product. You can play with more than 100 options to create just the sounds you need. The sound quality is of the highest level and is meant to be used by professionals, as it is fairly complicated to get your head around.

This plugin is available for both VST and AU and will provide you with the best modern voice syncretization that the technology has to offer. It’s not meant to be used as a replication of a human voice, as it is noticeably robotic, but it does however give you tons of options to play with when producing music. It’s a paid option, so expect to spend some cash on this.

We end this list with the plugin for the same manufacturer as the first item on this list as well. Plogues Chipspeech is a vintage-styled speech synthesizer and is meant to recreate the sound of the 80’s voice synthesis chips.

This plugin has 12 different voices which can be used in many different ways. You can easily control them through MIDI controllers, as you just need to type in your text and play. It also offers sound bending emulation, which enables you not just to create chaos, but to also control them and use them in a creative fashion.

Chipspeech is a paid product and can be used with all major DAW formats, including VST and AU.

Speech plugins don’t need to be used as the main ingredient to your song, as they will often not live up to expectations. But, they are, on the other hand, perfect for experimenting and if you use them as a side you can live up your mix in no time.

Use them to create some small additions for your original mix and experiment to see which will liven it up and give it some fresh vintage sound.

You can also always process and chop up some audio, experimenting on the way. This can give you some new fresh perspective when working with something you’re stuck with for a long time.

These plugins can also be used to tone down the need for the recording of human voices. It’s a lot easier to type in some lyrics and notes than to record a live human being.

On the other hand, the quality is certainly on the same as a real human voice recording. But, your application of this will depend on the style and genre of music that you are making.

Speech Synthesizers For Adding Vocals To Your Mixes

Adding vocals to your mix can turn an ordinary tune into something special, depending on the genre of music that you are creating. However, not everyone can sing or have access to someone who can provide them with vocals. Thankfully, just like there are numerous instrument plug-ins to add different instrument sounds to your music without having to own the physical instrument, there are also speech synthesizers available. While these are never going to be able to provide you with the type of vocals that an accomplished singer can deliver, using them can make a difference to your sound. Here are just a few of the options that are available on the market currently if you want to add some Vocoder-style vocals to your projects.

Digital Audio Workstation

In order to make use of Visual Studio Technology you need a digital audio workstation and many of these already have some type of integrated speech synthesizer that you can use. There are a lot of different DAWs on the market, so check the documentation for the one that you are using to see if it supports this feature. For example, in FL Studio you need to drag one of the speech presets from the "Speech" directory of the browser window to an empty Channel to open the speech synthesizer. You can then use the speech properties dialog box to adjust various settings, such as the personality, style and mode as well as the text that you want to be synthesized.

For some old school robotic speech try out VST Speek, a free vocal synthesis VST that is 100% freeware. This plugin is based on the Software Automatic Mouth vocal synthesis software that was available for the Commodore 64. There are better and more realistic options out there for quality speech synthesis, but if you want some crunchy robotic lofi voices, then VST Speek is great.

Chipspeech is not free, but if you want an authentic vintage-style speech synthesizer that manages to sound exactly like the voice synthesis chips of the 80's you won't want to miss out. It has a selection of 12 different voices, ranging from the dark and muted tone of Dandy 704, to the deep, rich and metallic tone of SAM. You can also extensively modify the sounds to create expressive performances. Chipspeech can be tried out free of charge, but if not registered you will not be allowed to save and each session will be restricted to four minutes.

If you prefer more modern sounding speech synthesis, then Alter/Ego is definitely worth a closer look. It is based on the same technology that can be found in Chipspeech, but its singing synthesis algorithms and research is based more on the type of sound from the nineties and upwards. The other benefit of Alter/Ego is that unlike Chipspeech, it is free.

PPG Phonem is another commercial plugin, but this one is from Wolgang Palm, who made his name as a wavetable synthesis pioneer. With Phonem, you are able to control and modulate every aspect of the voice in whatever manner you want. It is also versatile enough that to create all kinds of filter sweeps and effects in addition to the vocal sounds. A demo version of PPG Phonem is available that offers a nice taste of what can be done with it, but you can't save any presets that you create and it expires after seven days.

The Alternative

Of course, speech synthesizers are not the only way to add some words to your music. Even if your vocal talents are a bit lacking there are free plugins, such as MAutoPitch that can be used to keep everything a little more in-tune.

Florida Panthers celebrate Stanley Cup with parade, ceremony in rainy Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The Florida Panthers did not let anything rain on their parade Sunday. Even actual rain.

Through torrential downpour and some close encounters with lightning, Panthers fans flocked to the beach and stayed there, partying the whole way through it as they awaited the team’s arrival for its rally at the giant stage on Fort Lauderdale Beach. 

Same could be said about every corner of A1A during the team’s 2024 Stanley Cup championship parade. Panthers players obliged, spinning beach balls to the crowd as they made their way down the parade route.

”Who gives a (expletive) about the rain?” former Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo asked the crowd.

The crowd immediately erupted after hours of waiting for the Cats to take the stage.

Tampa Bay Lightning not forgotten during celebration

Fans came prepared for the occasion. Umbrellas sprouted out of the crowd, patrons plopped ponchos over their bikinis and that was all it took to keep the party going. “Let’s Go Panthers” chants turned into singing, dancing, and raving, and eventually ended at “(Expletive) the Lightning” chants — an ode to their cross-state rivals in Tampa who Florida knocked out in the first round.

“I just walked away from our beer pong table, jumped in the Atlantic Ocean, and I came right back to talk to The Palm Beach Post,” a Panthers fan named Tom said before the event started. “It’s probably the most epic party ever on Fort Lauderdale Beach. You’ve got fans going all the way in the back and it’s not even 9 ‘o clock. This is gonna be crazy, man.”

That it was.

And hey, why not? These fans have been waiting for a long time - 30 years for the first Stanley Cup championship in team history as well as from their time of arrival on Sunday morning.

Some fans were outside as early as 3:30 a.m., camping out with coolers,  beach chairs, tents, water, adult beverages and even a beer pong table. The party started not too long after that as fans continued to arrive — and it never ended.

Just like Tom and his sister, Brittany, who brought the beer pong table and were the life of the party since people started lining up in the early morning.

”Oh my gosh, I get goosebumps every time I go into the arena now because people are showing up,” Brittany said. “I get we’ve been horrible for the past 20 years and the past two we’ve been great. Granted the first (Stanley Cup final) back in 1996, we had our chance. So, going to the arena, seeing the love and support for this team that I’ve loved and adored my whole life. It’s the best feeling. It makes you cry.”

Long time coming for Panthers diehards

For the diehards, this was the moment they’ve been waiting for a long time.

”I’ve been through all of it,” said Mike Rowitz, a fan of the team since its inception in 1993. “We would get $5 or $10 tickets, now you’re paying $700 and $800 all the way through the playoffs. We’ve seen the rise and fall of it. It’s been amazing.”

The players and team personnel acknowledged that fact. They kept their speeches short, laced them with profanity, and had the crowd pumped up the entire way.

Sunday afternoon was a celebration of hockey in Florida, and the Stanley Cup is here to stay for it.

“When I was drafted here 10 years ago, I would’ve never believed this day would come,” team captain Aleksander Barkov said. “Here I am with my teammates, [owner Vinny] Viola, management, everyone. We’re here in front of you all together on a rainy day during hurricane season. We’re here on the beach celebrating us winning the Cup.”

The Panthers’ parade made its way down A1A in Fort Lauderdale Beach Sunday, with players carousing with celebrating fans, drinking out of shoes and enjoying the conclusion of a week of celebrations that energized and entertained South Floridians .

“I heard it’s 70 degrees and sunny in Edmonton,” Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk said. “But they ain’t got no Cup.”

The fans were ready. Owner Vincent Viola, who purchased the team in 2013, asked the fans a simple question: “How crazy do you want to get?”

The fans responded with a roar, and Viola hyped up a shirtless Ryan Lomberg celebrating with the Cup and a championship belt.

Sam Reinhart, whose Panthers future is in question as he enters unrestricted free agency, did not appear at the parade. He posted a video message via the Panthers’ X (formerly Twitter) account, saying he was celebrating his best friend’s wedding. But there were plenty of teammates to carry on the celebration without him.

Panthers television commentator Steve Goldstein MCed the event, bringing up Viola, team president Matthew Caldwell, general manager Bill Zito, former Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo and Broward County Administrator Monica Cepero, who declared Sunday to be Florida Panthers Day.

“Thirty years we’ve waited,” Luongo said, “who gives a s— about the rain?”

Coach Paul Maurice, who was previously the NHL coach with the most games coached who had never won a title, took the stage, wearing a shirt that had his cats’ faces superimposed over the Panthers’ logo. He said he told his daughter — who Maurice said was hit by a beer can during the parade — he would wear the shirt if they won the Stanley Cup.

Maurice’s speech was often profane, opening with, “30 f—— years!” But the crowd ate it up, and it set the tone for the players who followed him on stage.

“In my wildest dreams, I never would’ve thought I’d (see) this,” Maurice said. “Understand this: Everybody that we love in this world is f—— happy right now.”

Defenseman Aaron Ekblad was up first among the players. Despite trade rumors, the crowd showered him with love. Ekblad celebrated the moment with a traffic cone on his head and referenced a celebrity feud he had with golfer and noted Panthers fan Brooks Koepka.

“From the bottom of my heart: Thank you, thank you,” Ekblad said.

Tkachuk, whose iconic dip in the Atlantic Ocean marked the start of celebrations on Tuesday, thanked the fans and the management for bringing him to the team via a trade in 2022.

“You fans have made this the time of my f—— life,” Tkachuk said.

Captain Aleksander Barkov, who had played in more games for the Panthers than any player in franchise history, kept his speech PG. He concluded it by leading the crowd in a “Bob-by” chant for goalie Sergei Bobrovsky.

“When I was drafted here 10 years ago, 2013, I would’ve never believed that this day would come,” Barkov said. “Here I am with our teammates. With the team, all of us, management, everyone who are here in front of you all together in a rainy day during hurricane season where we’re able to be celebrating (after) winning the Cup!”

Bobrovsky has become a South Florida sports legend in the past two playoff runs. Benched early in the 2023 postseason for backup Alex Lyon, the Russian goalie’s seven-year, $70 million looks like a bargain when he was holding the Stanley Cup.

“(In) 2019, July 1, I just signed a deal with the Florida Panthers,” Bobrovsky said. “In my first interview, they asked me why I came to Florida. My answer was, ‘Because I want to win the Cup and I want to do it here.’

“And now here we are.”

Note Repeat in the Piano Roll

The Piano Roll has also been updated with Note Repeat. Use it to create stuttering beats and notes in both the Piano roll and Step Sequencer. Higher values mean more repeats. This is perfect for creating quick rolls!

Sub bass frequencies are foundational to modern music, but many common speakers, like those on phones, laptops, and headphones, can’t reproduce them, so they get completely lost. In today’s music-listening world, that’s a big problem.

New ‘Low Lifter’ plugin in FL Studio 2024

To solve this, Low Lifter analyzes the low end and dynamically adds higher harmonic frequencies that can be heard on any speakers. Not only does this unmask those low frequencies for any listener on any device, it enhances the ‘experience’ of the subs for everybody too, even on pro systems and subwoofers.

Spreader is another new, much-requested effect in FL Studio. It delivers powerful stereo enhancement with none of the mono-compatibility problems some spreaders introduce. 

New ‘Spreader’ plugin in FL Studio 2024

Any stereo effect on bass frequencies can cause the bass to ‘cancel’ itself out – potentially removing the bass and subs from your music entirely. This mostly happens when stereo audio is combined to make a mono signal (in many phones, tablets, and public sound systems, for example). Our spreader lets you exclude bass frequencies from the spreading, ensuring no cancellation occurs, so your bass remains centered and powerful.

A new ‘Welcome’ screen

Opening FL Studio now presents you with a welcome screen to jump straight in where you left off or try something new. This has your recently opened projects on the left and template projects on the right. For example, the “Song Starter” template opens a project with the new Chord Progression Tool ready to go.

The Welcome window can be deactivated in two ways: under ‘General Settings’ > ‘Manage warning messages’ or with the ‘Don’t show again’ box on the window.

Trial users can now choose which FL Studio Edition to launch on startup. This really useful feature lets you properly test the limits of each Edition and find which is right for you, before you buy.

Powerful AI features in Edison

The Declipper tool gets more powerful and we’re adding two AI models that allow you to remove noise or vocals from recordings where vocals are mixed into the track.

BPM matching in the Browser

You can now set the Browser to automatically match the key and tempo of samples to your current project, as long as a sample has BPM and key information available. You can bypass this to preview samples unprocessed, or even choose whether or not FL Studio applies the matching by default.

HQ mode in Parametric EQ 2

Parametric EQ 2 features a new HQ mode. This new mode allows ‘decramped’ filters without oversampling. EQ cramping can have unexpected and unwanted effects on high frequencies, even when working on the midrange.

CLAP support

Expanding FL Studio’s support of open standards, CLever Audio Plug-in (CLAP for short), brings the world’s newest plugin format into your favorite DAW. Any installed CLAP plugins will now appear after a plugin scan along with VST and AU format.

Improved Plugin Picker

We’ve improved the search function so the Picker now shows plugins containing any of the letters typed.

You can now use any time stretching mode with the ‘Switch all audio clips to’ function in FL Studio. Previously, this function only allowed Stretch and Resample modes.

Improved button states

Playlist, Piano Roll, and Event Editor Tool buttons now no longer change color on mouseover – so you can tell if they’re pressed.

Improved MIDI Out

MIDI Out now includes a ‘Note off’ value selector for note controls. Notes triggered with this control don’t have to stick around forever.

Faster rendering

FL Studio 2024 uses Blend2D for the GUI on macOS and Windows. You’re unlikely to notice this on smaller projects, but in heavy projects with a lot of visualization you will likely now have more frames per second.

Better support for macOS

On macOS, we’ve added all items from the main FL Studio menu to the macOS application menu. So now you can use it like a standard Mac app with the menu bar on top.

New features in Piano Roll scripts

Piano Roll scripting has been updated to feature a whole host of new functions to expand the possibilities of MIDI controller integrations.

New options in Settings

Settings now includes an option to purge the FL Cloud Sounds cache – this is necessary if something went wrong with signing in to FL Cloud for example

Rebind keyboard shortcuts

Settings window now features ‘Manage keyboard shortcuts‘ for selected functions such as the Browser, Pickers, and MIDI import. This is where rebindable key combinations will appear in the future.

Shortcut for ‘Make Unique’

There’s now a handy keyboard and mouse shortcut for the Make Unique Clip function. Holding Shift+V as you drag a chosen Clip creates a new copy as a Unique Clip. You can even select a bunch of clips and use Ctrl+Shift+V (Command+Shift+ V on macOS) to make Unique Clip copies of them all.

Send to Playlist as Audio Clip

When using ‘Send to Playlist as Audio Clip’, the display will now jump to the newly created Audio Clip in the Playlist.

Improved notices

We’ll show a warning when samples are dropped directly on Instrument Tracks in the Playlist. Of course, if you actually do want a sample on an instrument track, you can override this warning.

Delete with ease

Deleting multiple Audio or Instrument Channels now asks whether to delete associated data (Playlist Track, Mixer Track, Automation Clips, etc.) for every Channel being deleted. Previously this option was only available when deleting individual Channels.

Toggle for ‘Nudge clips’

You can now disable ‘Nudge clips with mouse wheel’.

Easy access to User Manual

Hover over any window and press F1 to open the relevant page in FL Studio’s User Manual.

Hide your user name

Your user name in the hint panel is now replaced with an anonymous ID. It’s perfect for sharing video capture of your DAW without revealing your private details.
