MS THESIS / PHD DISSERTATION GRANT

REVISED GUIDELINES FOR THE MASTER’S THESIS AND DOCTORAL DISSERTATION MANUSCRIPT GRANT (NRCP Resolution No. 2020-06 dated 18 February 2020)

The NRCP master’s thesis and doctoral dissertation manuscript grant is open to all masteral and Ph.D. degree graduates and is intended to support expenses for printing and binding of the thesis/dissertation.

General Provisions:

1. Masteral and Ph.D. degree graduates may file their application within one year after the completion of the degree.

2. Applicants must not have a similar support from other funding agencies.

3. Master’s thesis and doctoral dissertation studies must be aligned with the NRCP NIBRA or HNRDA ( click here for the NRCP NIBRA/HNRDA brochure ).

4. The financial assistance of the NRCP should be acknowledged in all reports and publications that will be generated from the thesis/dissertation.

5. The manuscript support: Master’s Thesis – Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000.00) Ph.D. Dissertation – Fifteen Thousand Pesos (P15,000.00)

Application Requirements:

1. Certificate of completion of thesis/dissertation from the adviser of the applicant;

2. E-copy of the research extended abstract following the NRCP template ( click here to download the extended abstract format ); and

3. Certification of no funding support signed by the College Secretary.

How to Apply for the Thesis and Dissertation Manuscript Grants:

  • For NRCP members, login to your existing SKMS account. In the Dashboard, click on the Thesis/Dissertation tab to view the criteria and requirements. Click Proceed if you satisfy the Criteria, and fill-out the information and attach the documentary requirements.
  • For non-NRCP Members, create a new account on skms.nrcp.dost.gov.ph by clicking on the Sign Up tab. An activation email will be sent to your email with details on how to activate your account. Once your account has been activated, click on the Thesis/Dissertation Tab in the Dashboard to view the criteria and requirements. Click Proceed if you satisfy the Criteria, and fill-out the information and attach the documentary requirements.

Important Notes:

  • The grant is open to all and is on a first-come, first-serve basis, however, NRCP members are prioritized.
