My favourite season is Winter . After the scorching heat of summer, winter arrives and brings pleasant changes to the weather. The cool breeze of the winter season carries a hint of freshness and brings comfort.

During the winter season, nature undergoes a subtle transformation. Trees shed their leaves, and the surroundings appear peaceful. Mornings are misty and create a magical ambience, especially in areas with diverse topography.

Winter brings festival time to India and among them, Diwali is a major celebration. The festival comes with lights, decorations, and a spirit of togetherness. All these warming features make the festival a joyous occasion for families and friends.

One of the highlights of the winter season is the nourishing warm and comforting foods. From hot tea to traditional delicacies like gajar ka halwa and makki ki roti, adds a delicious experience to the winter season in northern India.

Also, the winter season brings snowfall possibilities in higher altitudes in northern parts of India. Besides, people also eagerly wait for the arrival of migratory birds in sanctuaries. So, let’s begin.

Table of Contents

Essay on My Favourite Season Winter

Winter is the best of all seasons and I like this season the most. December, January and February are the three winter months. The weather at this time is very pleasant. In this season we can work hard but do not get tired. We put on warm clothes and enjoy the bright sunshine. The nights are very cold. The night in a warm bed under a quilt is very comfortable.

Paddy is harvested in this season. Colourful seasonal flowers grow in gardens. Fish, vegetables and fruits are also available in plenty in this season. They are very cheap also. This is the most suitable time for holding picnics in the open air. We can go out and hold excursions in winter.

Various types of fairs are held and festivals like Saraswati Puja, Christmas, and New Year’s Day are celebrated in this season. While we enjoy the cool comfort of the winter, the poor people suffer a lot during these months. They do not have warm clothes to protect them from cold. Overall I love this season very much.

Of all the six seasons, my favourite season is summer. It is the hottest season of the year. The summer season starts in March and ends in June. In this season the sun shines brightly. The best part of this season is summer vacation. This is a great relief from a hectic schedule, home works, and exam pressure. I enjoy the vacation by going to a beach or a hill station with friends and families. In summer I like to have cold drinks, lassi, ice cream, and coconut water.

We get many fruits in this season like mango, watermelon, litchi, jackfruit, pineapple etc. Many festivals such as charak puja, Rama Navami, Baisakhi, Rabindra Jayanti, etc. are celebrated in this season. My Favourite season Rainy Season

The season I like most is the Rainy season or monsoon. In India, this season begins in mid-June and ends in early September. Rainy season comes after the scorching heat of summer season and gives us relief. Clouds float here and there in the sky. Lightning and thunder occur frequently. People can be seen with umbrellas and raincoats. Dry rivers and lakes become full.

Farmers plough their fields. Children become very happy. They make paper boats and dance in the rain. A variety of fruits, vegetables, and crops grow in this season. Beautiful flowers blossom in this time. Beautiful rainbows can be seen in the sky.  This season brings a lot of festivals like Raksha Bandhan, 15th August, Teej, Janmashtami, etc. We can enjoy various types of dishes in the rain.

But sometimes heavy rainfall brings the flood. Flood causes many to lose their lives, houses, and livelihood. On the other hand, if there is no rainfall for a long time, drought can occur. This causes extensive damage to crops. So, the Rainy season is an important season for us.

My Favourite Season Autumn

India is a land of seasons. Six seasons come and pass away here. Autumn, however, appears to me the most charming season of all. It covers roughly two months-September and October. Our earth looks fresh and bright with its coming. The cloudy sky and the rainy weather are over in autumn. A deep blue sky smiles and the sun shines brightly. Nature is adorned with grace and charms. The natural beauty of the season is greatly appealing to me.

Autumn is dear to me for another important reason. This is the season for the greatest Bengali festival-the Durga Puja. This is the festival of joy and happiness. It makes one happy. I enjoy in it the happiness of the season.

My Favourite Season Autumn Essay

During the rainy season, the sky remains overcast with clouds. Rains fall continually. But, with autumn, the clouds are no more. A deep blue sky spreads, like a deep blue sea. The white patches of clouds float like little fairy boats.

The day looks golden with the sun shining. The night has a silvery moon, with its silvery luster. The millions of stars, too, sparkle. Now and then, rain begins to fall thick and fast. But then suddenly the rain stops and, again, a deep blue sky smiles. In autumn, the rivers are full to the brim. The fields are all green and golden with crops. Men and women are busy among them, reaping the harvest. Nature and man seem to unite in one mood of peaceful gladness. Autumn is my favourite season.

  • Post author: Grammar Library
  • Post category: Paragraph

Many people find themselves feeling a bit down as the seasons change, unsure which one they truly enjoy the most. It can be hard to pick a favorite when each season brings its own unique beauty and challenges.

This indecision often leads to missing out on the joy and experiences each season can offer. Without a clear favorite, it’s easy to overlook the special moments that make a particular season stand out from the rest.

Among all the seasons, there’s one that I hold dear for reasons that are as vibrant and warm as the season itself. This season not only lifts my spirits but also fills my days with endless possibilities and adventures. Let’s delve into why this season captures my heart more than any other.

Paragraph on The Season I Like Most

Paragraph on The Season I Like Most in 100 words

Winter, with its chilly mornings and cozy evenings, is the season I cherish the most. This period provides a much-needed break from the scorching heat of other seasons, making it easier to concentrate on studies without the discomfort of excessive sweat and fatigue. Winter mornings are especially beneficial for academic activities, as the cold weather increases alertness and improves concentration. Moreover, the calm and serene atmosphere of winter evenings offers a perfect setting for revising lessons and preparing for upcoming exams. This season not only enhances my academic performance but also rejuvenates my spirit, making learning more enjoyable and effective.

Paragraph on The Season I Like Most in 150 words

Monsoon season holds a special place in my heart, as it brings a refreshing change after the relentless summer heat. The rains rejuvenate the parched earth, and the lush greenery that follows is a feast for the eyes, creating an environment conducive to learning and creativity. During monsoon, the cool breezes and occasional downpours create a perfect backdrop for reading and engaging in academic pursuits.

This season encourages indoor activities, which means more time is devoted to studying, experimenting with science projects, or exploring new books. The sound of raindrops provides a calm and peaceful soundtrack for focusing on studies, making complex topics easier to grasp. Furthermore, the monsoon season often brings the community together, offering lessons in teamwork and cooperation through indoor games and group studies, enhancing both social and educational skills.

Paragraph on The Season I Like Most in 200 words

The season I favor most is the spring, which stands out with its vibrant flowers and moderate temperature, creating an ideal environment for both leisure and academic pursuits. As the cold winter gives way to the warmth of spring, nature blooms in all its glory, offering a splendid spectacle that inspires creativity and a love for the environment among students. This season is particularly conducive to outdoor learning activities, such as nature walks and science experiments, which can enhance understanding of biological and environmental concepts in a practical context.

Furthermore, the pleasant weather of spring boosts mental and physical well-being, making it easier for students to focus on their studies and participate actively in physical education. The daylight lasts longer, providing more opportunities for after-school study sessions in natural light, which is beneficial for eye health and reduces the strain caused by artificial lighting. Additionally, spring is a season of new beginnings, encouraging students to set new academic goals and work towards achieving them with renewed vigor. The overall ambiance of spring fosters a positive attitude towards learning, making it the most cherished season for its contribution to academic success and personal growth.

Paragraph on The Season I Like Most in 250 words

The season that captivates my heart the most is the monsoon. After the sweltering heat of summer, the monsoon season brings a refreshing change. The skies open up to pour down, transforming the parched earth into a lush green canvas. This season is crucial for India, as it significantly affects agriculture, a vital part of our economy. Farmers eagerly await the rains to sow their crops, and the success of the monsoon can lead to prosperity and abundance.

The cool and pleasant weather is a relief from the intense heat, making it an ideal time for studying and concentrating on academic pursuits without the discomfort of the heat. The sound of raindrops hitting the ground and the petrichor emanating from the wet soil create a soothing environment that enhances concentration. During this season, schools often discuss the importance of water conservation and the role of monsoon in our ecosystem, making it an educational experience as well. Additionally, the monsoon season is a time for vibrant festivals and cultural events, providing a glimpse into India’s rich heritage and traditions. These aspects make the monsoon my favorite season, offering both a respite from the heat and an opportunity for learning and growth.

Paragraph on The Season I Like Most in 300 words

Winter is the season I hold dear among the varying climates of India. Its arrival brings a much-needed break from the otherwise prevalent warmth across the country. During winter, the temperature drops, enveloping the environment in a cool and serene blanket. This change not only refreshes the body but also invigorates the mind, making it a perfect time for academic focus and exploration. The chilly mornings encourage students to wake up early, leading to more disciplined study routines. In the classroom, the cool air makes learning more comfortable and enjoyable, away from the distractions of heat.

Winter in India is also marked by a string of cultural and religious festivals, such as Diwali and Makar Sankranti, offering students a chance to learn about and participate in the traditions and customs that have shaped our country. These festivals are not only occasions for celebration but also opportunities for understanding the diverse cultural heritage of India, enhancing the educational experience outside the conventional classroom setting.

Moreover, the winter season promotes outdoor activities and sports, which are crucial for physical well-being and mental health, aspects that significantly contribute to a student’s overall development and academic performance. The cooler weather is conducive to outdoor games and physical exercise, which are often integrated into school curriculums to emphasize the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

The beauty of winter, with its foggy mornings and the warmth of the sun in the afternoons, creates a picturesque setting for both study and relaxation. It’s a time when nature itself seems to slow down, encouraging us to reflect, learn, and grow. Thus, winter stands out as my favorite season, combining the joy of learning with the beauty and tranquility of nature.

Feature image of Short Essay on My Favourite Season

My favourite season of the year is summer. It begins in April and ends in June. During the summer season, days are long and nights are short. The skies are clear and the sun is bright. We get month-long summer vacation and can stay at home with our parents and family without having to worry about school. We usually go to visit our grandparents in the village during the summer season.

In the village, I get the opportunity to play with the neighbourhood kids in mango and guava orchards that surround my grandparents’ place. They teach me new games and I always have a great time with them. Summer is also the season of mangoes. We get to eat so many varieties of juicy, delicious mangoes.

My favourite season of the year is winter. The Winter months are very cold as the temperature drops low. It also snows in the northern, high-altitude parts of the country. We wear a lot of warm clothes and eat hot foods to keep us warm. Our metabolism increases during the winter season and thus, we can eat a lot of delicious food. Hot drinks like tea, coffee and hot chocolate are also welcomed.

During the winter season, we usually go on a week-long vacation to hill stations to enjoy the snow. I make snowmen with my parents and siblings and go ice staking as well. There, at night, we create small bonfires to warm ourselves and chit-chat with each other. Winter is also the season of festivities as we celebrate Diwali, Christmas and New Year in winter.

My mother always bakes cakes for us on Christmas and they are warm and delicious. When I don’t have school, I like staying in bed covered in a thick quilt and reading my favourite storybooks. I also go out to play cricket and badminton with my friends every afternoon as it warms my body and keeps me active. Due to the cold weather, we don’t sweat much and can play for a long time. Because of all these reasons, I like the winter season.

Out of the four predominant seasons, my favourite is the monsoon or the rainy season. It starts to rain heavily all over the country by July. As it rains, the water washes away all the dust from plants and trees, making them look green and beautiful again. As the rain hits the dried-up ground, the smell of wet earth fills the atmosphere and makes our hearts dance.

New seedlings begin to sprout and grasses and plants begin to grow all around us. Our surroundings are covered in green and look very mesmerising. As India is an agricultural country, the rainy season is very important for us. Rains irrigate fields and help crops grow. Without rain, most of our major crops will fail, causing loss of business and even starvation. As my grandparents and uncles are farmers, I have experienced the joy that the rainy season brings to farmers very closely.

I also like the rainy season because when it rains heavily, I do not need to go to school. Sometimes, even my parents take leave and then our whole family gets to enjoy the day together. My mother makes delicious fritters with tea which we enjoy while playing board games like ludo and carrom. My father is very fond of flowering plants and we have a lot of plants in our garden. During the rainy season, our garden looks majestic with hundreds of blooming flowers in many different colours.

My friends often come over to my house and we enjoy playing in the garden when the rain stops. We make paper boats and put them in water puddles. Sometimes, we also compete to see whose boat would go farther. Sometimes our parents allow us to go outside when it is raining and then, we enjoy jumping in puddles, getting drenched and playing in rain. It is very fun to play in the rain. After that, my mother makes hot soup for us to warm us up.

When it rains at night and electricity is cut, we get to enjoy our food in candlelight. After dinner, we go straight to bed and tell each other ghost stories. I and my siblings always try to scare each other. When it rains for days, I like to sit by the window and read my favourite books while watching the rain. The rainy season is very special for me and when it ends in September, I wish for it to come quickly next year.

So hopefully, after going through this session, all your confusion regarding this topic has been cleared. Post your doubts if you have any, in the comment section below. I will try my level best to address your queries. Keep browsing our website for more such content.

English Essay on “Season I like Most” Complete Essay, Paragraph, Speech for Class 9, 10, 12 Students

Season i like most.

Every season has got its own specialty. In summer, it is too hot and in winter, it is shivering cold but I like most the spring season for its beauty which gives joy and pleasure. Even a stone heart can be melted by its beauty in this season.

It is said,” The spring is the queen of all. It provides enormous joy and happiness to everyone.” Barren and uncultivated grounds turn like a bride in a red garment. Trees shading brings for the new buds. Bees and butterflies dance and it is made pleasant by the song of the cuckoo. Pretty cold disappears and everywhere moderate climate is seen. Rivers look transparent where fishes dance and attract everyone. In such a beautiful scene all the people enjoy this season and so do I.

Seeing the beauty of spring, many great poets composed their poems in praise of the spring. Shakespeare, Milton, Johnson all described its beauty in their poems. It is the season of affection and love. It is a meeting place in the grass of the garden.

It is also said that this season is the best for getting marriage. It is the holy season too because Lord Ram’s incarnation was held in this season. The most precious puja for students also falls in this season.

Finally, this season is the symbol of joy, pleasure, happiness, beauty, and love and the whole nature looks beautiful and everyone likes this season very much.

The season of fall, also known as autumn, holds a special place in my heart for a variety of reasons. From the cool, crisp air to the vibrant colors of the changing leaves, fall is a time of beauty, reflection, and transformation.

One of the main reasons why I love the fall season is the weather. After the hot and humid days of summer, the cool, crisp air of fall is a welcome relief. The temperature begins to drop, and there is a refreshing chill in the air that invigorates the senses. As the leaves on the trees begin to change color, the landscape transforms into a breathtaking display of reds, oranges, yellows, and browns. The vibrant hues of the changing leaves create a picturesque backdrop that is truly awe-inspiring. Walking through a forest or driving along a country road during the fall season feels like stepping into a painting, with every turn revealing a new burst of color and beauty. In addition to the visual beauty of fall, there is also a sense of nostalgia and reflection that comes with the season. Fall is a time of transition, as the days grow shorter and the nights grow longer. It is a time to reflect on the year that has passed and to prepare for the colder months ahead. The changing of the seasons serves as a reminder of the passage of time and the cyclical nature of life. It is a time to slow down, take stock of our lives, and appreciate the beauty and abundance that surrounds us.

One of the things I love most about fall is the abundance of seasonal activities and traditions that come with the season. From pumpkin picking and apple picking to hayrides and corn mazes, there are countless ways to celebrate the fall season and create lasting memories with family and friends. Fall festivals and fairs offer a variety of food, music, and entertainment, while Halloween and Thanksgiving provide opportunities to dress up, feast, and give thanks. Whether it’s carving pumpkins, baking apple pies, or raking leaves, fall is a time of celebration and togetherness that brings people closer and creates lasting bonds.

Finally, fall is a time of harvest and abundance, as farmers gather their crops and prepare for the winter months ahead. The bounty of the fall harvest provides an opportunity to enjoy fresh, locally grown produce and to savor the flavors of the season. From apples and pumpkins to squash and cranberries, fall produce is not only delicious but also nutritious, offering a variety of vitamins and minerals to support our health and well-being. Seasons change with the change in nature. Summer, Rainy, Winter, and Spring are the seasons in our tropical continent. The summers are so hot that people eagerly wait for the monsoon. The rains bring relief. The winters are cold and many parts of northern India experience snowfall. The ‘queen of seasons’, Spring is also the ‘season of festivals’. Every season has its own characteristic features.

During the summer season, the intense heat and the scorching sun rays are cures. People prefer to stay indoors. Many areas face the problem of water scarcity. Almost every year during summers epidemic breaks out. But despite the various drawbacks of the summer season, it is the season I like most.

The end of the Spring is the beginning of summer. I welcome this change as it is a sign of fast-approaching summer vacations. These holidays are always awaited. They are a relief from the heavy book load, tedious study schedule of school difficult assignments, and brain raking examinations. Holidays mean no fixed routine and I can spend my time as I please.

Playing and splashing in the cool waters of the swimming pool in the company of my friends is what I enjoy most.

Many delicious fruits come only in this season. Watermelons, grapes, and the king of fruits-mangoes are my fond temptations. I love ice-cream. As there is little fear of cold and coughs  I eat plenty of it. Nothing can hold me back from cold coffee with ice-cream and ice-cream soda. Thanks to summers, I can fulfill all my desires in taste.

“ In fact, the summer season is the time when I can be my own self and I enjoy its every moment.

The Summer Season

Generally, we call two seasons in this world Summer and Winter. The Indian Summer is the hottest season in the whole year. The rays of the sun fall on cancel and make India very hot. Actually, India has six seasons. Summer is one of them. May and June are the months of summer. We have to heat to bear. The plains of India are hot while mountain areas are not so hot. We feel uneasy in this season. It becomes difficult to walk in the day. At mid-day, nobody lies to go out due to intense heat. Rich people make use of fans and coolers. The greater part of the day is wasted in laziness and rest.

Schools and College hours are changed during summer. Early morning hours are understood to be the best period to work. So all institutions work in the morning. Educational institutions are closed during summer vacation. Chiks and curtains are used in every house. Khuskhus curtains are kept wet during the day.

In summer we feel a scarcity of water. Small rivers, ponds, and tanks become dry. The level of water goes down. The grass becomes withered and dry. There becomes a problem of water – supply. In cities, water is supplied for a limited period. In the village, the condition is not very good. due to scarcity of water, the villages life become a curse. We need water for drinking purposes. In addition to it, animals suffer for water.

During summer beasts pant for breath due to heat. They seek shade and sit under it for rest. They do not like to wander in the burning heat. The birds hide in the branches of trees or holes of walls. The earth becomes hard and hot. It is so hot that one cannot walk barefooted. The wind is hot and dusty. We drink water again and again. We like cold water to drink.

The other side of the summer coin is fruitful. We get the best fruits in this season in our country. We get mangoes, watermelons, muskmelons, blackberry, mulberry, and sweet violet, etc. in addition to fruits, this season is the base of the Rainy Season, Monsoon Rainfall depends on the season. Both Monsoon Rain takes water from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. Besides it, early hours – from 4 to 10 are useful to cover the whole day’s work. Early morning is very pleasant and charming. It is quite a free-form heat of the day. We have a cool breeze in the early hours. We can enjoy the chirping of birds. the days are long. We sleep in the day to take a rest.

Rainy Season depends on the summer season. Rainy Season is the base of Indian Agriculture and other fields. Every coin has two sides so is the case with the summer season.

The Season You Like Most

Like most people, I wait for the rainy season most eagerly. Life is miserable during the summer season. There is a scarcity of water everywhere. Grasses, trees, and plants die due to the heat and lack of water Dry, hot winds blow the whole day. Many people die of thirst and heat-strokes. It is therefore not surprising that the clouds are a welcome sight. They bring with them the life-giving rain and coolness.

Rains are nectar from heaven. Vast deserts turn into fields of flowers and green grass. Trees soon give out new leaves and fruits. The crop in the fields starts swaying with the cool wind. Nature once again rejuvenates itself. It is because of its life-giving properties that rain is regarded as God in India.

The rainy season is undoubtedly the best season. Spring brings with it beauty, but rain sustains it. It is a fact that the beauty of most plants, flowers, and other living beings would vanish in the absence of rain. The rainy season is like a mother who nurses her children with precious food and nutrients.

The rainy season is not only useful but also beautiful. There is greenery all around Birds come out in large numbers to feed and to breed. Flowers bloom and so do other life forms. The black clouds look wonderful against the blue sky. We often come across a rainbow. If we are lucky we may come across a dancing peacock.

Poets and writers have discovered music in the falling raindrops. To them, big raindrops sound like a thousand drums. The thunder sounds like a bugle. Frogs, too sing in great joy. Although to many of us it may not sound so sweet like that of a cuckoo.

Rains clean the dirt accumulated by nature and mankind. It restocks the water bodies. Rains are indeed a blessing from the Almighty God.

My Favourite Season

Write a composition/ an essay on the season you like most.

THE SEASON I LIKE MOST Or THE RAINY SEASON

Introduction: There are six seasons in Bangladesh. All of them are important for us. But they all are not my favourite. My favourite season is the rainy season and I like it most.

Time: The rainy season is the second season of Bangladesh. 'Ashar' and 'Shraban' make the rainy season. But sometimes it begins earlier and lasts longer.

How it occurs: During this season, the monsoon blows from the Bay of Bengal and passes over Bangladesh. It brings much vapour and causes heavy rainfall in our country.

Common scenes/Description: During the rainy season the sky remains cloudy. The sun is not seen for days. Sometimes it rains cats and dogs. Sometimes it drizzles. Roads become muddy and slippery. Rivers, canals and ponds overflow their banks. Fields go under water.

Usefulness/Advantages: Bangladesh is an agricultural country. Most of the crops depend on rain water. So the rainy season is a blessing for our country. Then the soil becomes soft and fertile and our farmers can easily prepare it. It also washes away filth and dirt and purifies the environment. Men can easily go from one place to another by boat.

Disadvantages/demerits: The rainy season is not blessing for us all the time. In the rainy season the road becomes muddy and slippery. So people cannot go from one place to other easily. Excessive rain often causes flood. It destroys houses and crops. Cholera, typhoid, dysentery and diarrhoea break out. All this brings untold sufferings to our people.

Conclusion: Though the rainy season has its demerits, it is blessing for us. It helps the nature to gain new life. So, we always welcome this season and enjoy its beauty.

The Season I Like Best Or The Spring

Bangladesh is a land of seasons. There are six seasons in Bangladesh and they come one after another. Every season has its own beauty and charm. But of all the seasons, I like spring most as it is the loveliest of all seasons.

The month of Falgun and Chaitra form spring. It comes between winter and summer. After the cold spell of winter, spring appears and everybody welcomes it. It comes at such a time when we have moderate temperature which is neither hot nor cold.

Spring is my fovaurite season because in spring nature wears a festive look. In spring nature is adorned with new leaves. During winter nature becomes dull and dry. But with the advent of spring nature takes a new look and life. The trees and plants become laden with new leaves, new buds and flowers. The countryside looks very beautiful. In fact, nature wears a charming look and attire. It touches every blade of grass with a lovelier green, every tree with beautiful flowers.

I like spring most because it is also the season of flowers. Every woodland and garden become full of flowers of various colour and fragrance. The scent of flowers spread all around and the drowsy murmur of bees is heard in every forest nook. The Kamini, the Hasnahena, the Palash and the Bakul make the atmosphere fragrant with their sweet scent. They make the season pleasing, charming and bewitching.

Spring is also the season of songs in our country. The cuckoo sings its melodious songs. It hides itself in the leaves of trees and coos. Its melodious notes send thrill of joy to every human heart and makes the atmosphere romantic. Poets, therefore, look upon the cuckoo as the symbol of youth. All other singing birds pour forth their sweet, thrilling and welcoming notes in the fullest of their hearts.

I like spring most as it is the period of abundance. Vegetables grow in plenty. It is the best harvesting period when everybody is happy. Crops and grains cover the fields. Plants and trees become lively in this season.

Spring is also favourite to me for its manifold charms. No one can overlook her wealth of natural beauty and temperate climate. No one likes the dry and hot spell of summer or the heavy downpour of rainy season. Nobody likes the barrenness of winter and the severity of its cold spell. But spring, the season of vegetables and blossom, has none of these discomforts.

In fact, spring is the king of all seasons. It is the season of youth and colour. It is full of life and warmth. It is the season of new leaves, new buds, new flowers, sweet melody, gentle breeze and moderate climate. All these attractions of spring charm me most and make me a worshipper of this season.

In Bangladesh there are six seasons. Each of these seasons stands out with its own characteristics and appeals. But as a matter of fact, everybody chooses from among them only one as the most favovrite to him or her. Likewise, there is one season I like most—the Rainy season. My liking may differ from others' in this regard, but I have specific explanations to justify it.

The months of the Ashar and the Sraban consist of the rainy season. But the reality is that this season spreads itself through the month of Aswin-including about four months in all. This season is characterized by continual rainfalls. During this season the flora and the fauna of an area that were previously unbearably tormented by the scorching heat of the summer gets new life and youth. New lively buds come forth out of dried seeds; the dried and thirsty throats of men and animals get the blessed touch of the thirst-quenching heavenly water. The sky is almost always cloudy, looking pregnant with heavenly blessings. The cracked soil comes back to life with firm commitment to grow more trees and crops. There is life everywhere. Nature, clad in green trees shrubs and herbs all around, devotes herself to her own prayer. Rivers, ponds, and canals, excited by the fulsome presence of boutifulness, leap out of themselves to overwhelm the earth. Everywhere the presence of serenity cleanliness and chastity is seen in nature. In a word, everything seems to be reborn.

I like this season most for a number of reasons. Firstly, this season brings life to us, to the whole nature. But for its mercy, nature would have to dry up and die; men and animals would have to starve and die of thirst; nature would turn into a lifeless desert, devoid of all her beauty and charm. But fortunately, the rainy season revives everything, redecorates nature's withered face with countless deep-green leaves and wildflowers. Secondly, this season is the only season which makes the dirty world clean and holy by washing away filths and dirts. The environment is rendered superbly hygienic. The atmosphere is endowed with a tonic effect. And healthiness being a part of and pre-condition to beauty, the goddess of beauty touches everything around with her magic beauty-wand. As a result, an affluence of beauty is seen all around. Thirdly, the rainy season makes me feel, think, and imagine, when I remain sitting on my chair in the narrow balcony, and the rains fall incessantly causing a rythtmic sound, overwhelming the conscious layer of the mind and leading it into the sub-conscious, I have the rarest opportunity of feeling the past and the present at the same time. Then I feel like seeing life in its numerous uniappened alternatives. I leave myself in the hands of wayward imagination. I become care-free, can feel the inner truth and beauty of life in its perfect form. I feel the thirst of the flesh, the religion of the blood and the bones. I happen to think of love-the only goal of life. A romantic inner atmosphere energizes me from within. Temporary flashes of unmaneuvred images swing before my eyes—those images are formed of what I have always desired and loved most. They can be felt, smelt, and seen. Time halts for a moment, as it were. Then it seems that the entire values of life are to be found in such short but sef-sufficient moments.

Much can be said about this benefit of the rainy season, and yet little will be expressed. This season makes, me a poet, if for the time being. And this, in my opinion, is why I like it most. The thought-arousing capability of this very season has created great poets like Kalidash, Biddapoti, Rabindranath and many others. Truth to tell, it besmears almost everyone's heart with a soothing balm of pleasure which, with its temporary sparks of creativity, makes his/her heart wide and tender. Keeping this aspect of the capabilities of the season, it can be said that it brings life not only to nature and bodies of human beings and animals, but also to people's minds. It quenches the thirst of the body and increases that of the mind.

There is another reason why I like the rainy season most. Here I refer to the opportunities of journeying by boats. A journey by boat in the rainy season along a river or 'beel' or canal is far more interesting than in any other season. Such a journey can give one the opportunity to enjoy the real beauty of Natı re. And perhaps everyone will believe the notion that to know one's country best one should first feel and enjoy the natural beauty of the country, whereby one can truly love one's country.

I must say that I like other seasons more or less. And what is more, I also dislike some aspects of the rainy season. But its merits and capabilities attract my liking more than those of any other season. And that is why I like the season most.

Season I Like Most Essay-2

(Introduction, My favorite season, Description, Disadvantages, Conclusion)

Essay on Season I Like Most - Winter is one of the six seasons in Bangladesh. It comes after the late autumn. It begins from the middle of November and lasts up to the middle of February. It covers the two Bengali months- Poush and Magh. In winter, the days are short and the nights are long.

To me, winter is the best of all seasons in the year. There are various reasons why I like winter best.

In winter, we get various kinds of vegetables and fruits in plenty. To speak the truth, these are comparatively cheap in this season. The vegetables that are grown and supplied in plenty are the beans, tomatoes, cauliflowers, cabbages, turnips, potatoes brinjals, radishes etc. They add to the variety of our taste and palate. During winter fishes too are available in plenty. Home-made cakes, date-juice, fried rice etc. add to the enjoyment of a winter morning in our villages. The molasses made of date juice, the most palatable Bengalee food is available in plenty. Orange, one of the desirable fruits found in this season is cheap. Various types of flower such as marigold, sunflower etc. bloom. We can work hard. Our body does not sweat. We are not easily tired. We can digest all types of food better this season. There are crystal-like dew drops on the grass which look very beautiful. The roads & streets even open meadows are not visible in the morning due to mist and fog in this season. A warm bed at night in winter gives us great pleasure and comfort. We wear warm clothes and feel comfortable when going out. Winter is a dry season. We can move about freely. The roads are dry. It is free and easy to walk along the dry roads. The sunshine is very pleasant in the morning and afternoon this season. We find this season in the most appropriate time for holding picnics in the open air. We can play many outdoor games such a cricket, badminton, tennis etc. this season. The rain can not mar our joy and pleasure. Moreover, epidemic diseases do not break out in a serious form in this season.

It is a painful season for the poor who can not manage warm items of clothing. Vagabonds and destitute suffer greatly from cold. Nature looks dull and gloomy. Leaves of trees fall off. Most of the birds migrate from here to there.

In the end, we can say that other seasons have their usefulness. But think that winter gives us greater comfort and pleasure. So I like it best.

Season I Like Most Essay-3

Introduction: Bangladesh, the darling child of nature, is supposed to have six seasons-- Summer, Rains, Early Autumn, Late Autumn, Winter, and Spring. Let me first narrate the good and bad sides of the seasons clearly. Each season has its features, advantages and disadvantages. Despite these, I like summer -- the first season of the year. This may seem strange to all but it is a fact for me.

Characteristics of summer: Summer is the first season. It is not an unmixed blessing. The sun in this season grows intensely hot that becomes unbearable. People feel easily tired of it in summer. What with the hut, the sweat, the dust and the flies at times, it is positively maddening. General health usually remains good. The suffering and humid heat at noon are usually compensated by the refreshing air that blows at evening. There is thundershower that brings the temperature down and gives pleasant respect.

Why dear to me: Summer, the intolerable heated season, makes itself dear to me by compensating highly. Mango, the first fruit, is available. There is a joy of a football game. When sea-breeze blows. I feel refreshed. I go out with my ball and play with my friends. It cools the body and soothes the mind. The sweetness of ice-cream, cold drink, and cool edible things are so delicious that it cannot be desirable. I can sleep under an electric fan, tree and open sky at night. Schools and colleges remain closed in this season. As a student, I can find myself in a very happy mood. I can enjoy the long vacation and find a scope of spending time in gossiping. I can find time to swim in the river. I can learn seriously the havoc caused by malaria in this season. It gives me an opportunity to serve sick people.

Features: The day this season is longer. There remains a long time to play various games. Parents do not create pressure for studies as schools remain closed. Sometimes, it rains heavily. We can bathe in the rainwater. When the fields go under water, fishes of different spices are available. It is also interesting to catch fish in the rain. Various types of fruits ripen in this season. We can have their fastest. When the heat of the sun becomes scorching /unbearable; even the naughty boys do not run in the sun. They become self-controlled for fear of being attacked with cholera -- a deadly disease that breaks out in this season in an epidemic form. The moonlit night of this season has a special attraction. Children can listen to tales told by their grandmothers sitting around them. They get themselves cold enjoying the air and a gentle breeze blowing from the south.

Its influence: This season has some influences. So I don't deny that the heavy rains that make the green fields greener against the background of an overcast sky have a greater charm for a poetic mind. Many poets have composed poems on the season and have depicted its features to our knowledge. The passing of the wild beasts through the dried leaves makes us charmed with a rustling sound. Then the silence of nature disappears. The cry of the jackals in the bush is very dear to hear.

Men and animals: People wear short shirts and thin clothes this season. They use umbrellas overhead when they go out in the sun. Children go to school in the same manner. Many times, sweat comes out. Then they mop it with handkerchiefs or pieces of clothes of extra-nature. This scenery is very charming. Buffaloes in a herd go into the river and remain there for long until or unless they become cold. This scenery inspires me to know how they lead their life on earth.

Merits: All classes of people may have either more or less experienced this season. They find many natural gifts available.

Demerits: The summer comes with scorching heat. People suffer from various diseases. Poisonous snakes are seen here and there like the rainy season. People do not find any taste and interests of food or any other edible things.

Conclusion: Despite all its demerits, I like summer most out of my own reason and justification. On the other hand, it is not called the king of all seasons. Its breezes is a very refreshing experience.

The Season You Like Most

“Four seasons fill the measure of the year;”-wrote Keats, the famous English poet.

However, while writing so, Keats was thinking only of the seasons of the year in England. But, in India, we have as many as six seasons. These are summer, rainy season, early autumn, late autumn, winter, and spring. In Assamese, these seasons are called Greeshma, Barsha, Sharat, Hemanta, Sheet, and Basanta.

Each of these six seasons is distinguished by its own particular characteristics. Summer is very hot and we are more plagued by flies and mosquitoes than in the other seasons. But it is also a season of plenty of flowers, vegetables, and fruits including the mango, the king of fruits. The rainy season is the season of rains, floods, and mud. But it supplies the necessary water for every kind of vegetation and without rains, we will all be dead.

The rainy season, too, has its own fruits and vegetables. With the advent of early autumn, the dark clouds gradually vanish and the sky appears clear. With this, our minds also become bright, clear, and hopeful, especially because the buds of the paddy seedlings start opening. We celebrate several festivals including the Durga Puja. Late autumn is the season of harvest and plenty. Varieties of fruits, vegetables, and flowers appear everywhere and the roads become completely free from mud and dirt. It was of late autumn that Keats was thinking when he called it the ‘‘Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness”.

Winter is extremely cold. In some places, during this season, people die due to cold waves just as they die due to heat waves in summer. For the poor people who have no warm clothes, winter is a nightmare. There are no rains and the trees appear almost naked because they’ll drop their leaves. However, vegetables, fish, fruits, and all kinds of eatables are found in plenty because of the recent harvest. And, lastly, there is spring. But let me discuss it separately. For, I have my reasons for doing so.

I have kept spring deliberately aloof from the others because it is the season I like most. It is true that, like the other five seasons, spring also has few unpleasant aspects. For example, during this season, we are most and constantly troubled by strong gusts of wind which often blow away rooftops, destroy houses and cause many other damages, particularly to the poor. Moreover, they bring in their train not only a lot of dust but also germs of epidemics like chickenpox and smallpox, etc.

But the pleasant aspect of the spring season far outweighs its own unpleasant ones as well as the pleasant ones of the other seasons. To me, as also to many others, it is the king of seasons. Every year, I keep eagerly looking forward to the spring season, first because I can see the leafless, dry trees and plants once again coming back to real life after several months of life in death, as it were. It is as if April, with his sweet showers of rain, pierces the dry earth of March to the root, bathes all its (the earth’s) veins with his liquor (the rain), and brings forth the many-colored flowers. Everywhere one sees the juiceless tree twigs of winter budding again with soft, green leaves as well as trees, plants, and creepers drooping with the weight of their flowers displaying the bright vibgyor colors of the rainbow. The air is filled with fragrance and the mind dances in joy. Spring is the season of the young. It is as if the green leaves and the parti-colored flowers only reflect, our sweet colorful dreams. Keats said that during the “lusty Spring”, man’s fancy “takes in all beauty with an easy span”.

Secondly, I like the spring also because the first few showers of the season wash away the oppressive dust of the winter and enliven the whole atmosphere with a fresh breath of air. The weather is neither bot nor cold, but just pleasantly warm.

And, finally, I like the spring because it is the season of Rongalee Bihu, the national festival of the Assamese. My longing for Rongalee Bihu knows no bounds because it is a truly secular and catholic festival. There are no bars of any kind for participation in this festival. Everybody irrespective of his religion, language, race, or caste, rejoices with a spirit of gay abandon.

To praise the spring so much does not mean that I dislike the other seasons. Every season has its own peculiar charm, beauty, and relevance. I only like spring most because I am an optimist and it arouses hope.

It is not for nothing that Shelley had said – “O, Wind, If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?”.

Morfydd Clark as Galadriel in The Rings of Power

Two years ago, the Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power showrunners made a bold claim.

Patrick McKay and J.D. Payne were speaking to The Hollywood Reporter on the set of season two and responding to some of the criticisms fans had about their Prime Video show’s debut season. McKay pledged that their second round tackling J.R.R. Tolkien’s beloved fantasy world would be “bigger and better” on “every level … by an order of magnitude.”

“Anytime you’re going to be doing something the second time, you have all the benefit of everything that you learned,” Payne said. “Having done it the first time, frankly, is a huge help. The second season, we know our actors a lot better. We know their voices. We know how they live in these characters. So I think we knew where the bull’s-eye was in terms of how to write to each of their strengths. Another part is you had to set up an entire world in season one. You have to introduce audiences to the Second Age. You have to meet all these different characters in a half dozen worlds. It’s a lot to onboard. Now we’re really able to just hit the ground running by virtue of the fact that this is the next chapter, the board is set, and the pieces are in motion. We can start with a bang. Sauron is making moves and he never slows down — neither does the show.”

Which isn’t to say there are not any quiet moments in the second season. The showrunners point out that they’ve just been able to infuse the new episodes with an increased sense of momentum.

The showrunners also noted that the show benefited from elevating Charlotte Brändström to a producing director for the new season. The Swedish-French director helmed two episodes during the show’s first season, including episode six, which many considered the debut season’s best hour. This time, Brändström directed half the season, including the premiere and finale, and helped influence the remaining episodes as well.

“We previously worked with Charlotte Brändström and her director of photography, Alex Disenhof on episodes six and seven — which are our favorite episodes from season one,” McKay said. “We really found the tone of the show in those episodes — they’re more grounded, they’re grittier, they’re more dramatic, they’re very emotional. I think they helped us cinematically, but also in terms of performance and tone. I think some of the lift that we believe the show has achieved is in great part due to their influence. They are some of our closest collaborators, and I really feel that they helped us up our game and I wanted to make sure we threw credit their way.”

The Rings of Power returns on Amazon’s Prime Video on Aug. 29.

Editor’s Note: This post contains spoilers for “ Only Murders in the Building ” Season 4, Episode 1, “Once Upon a Time in the West.”

And while the award-winning Hulu series has been mostly consistent in quality and execution, switching things up has proved to be a winning strategy for “OMITB.” Season 3 brought in a fresh cast of characters with Oliver’s Broadway project “Death Rattle Dazzle,” and the murder (and resurrection, and then murder for real) of star Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd). Season 4 follows suit and pushes things even further, sending the central trio out to Los Angeles and far, far away from The Arconia. Related Stories ‘Families Like Ours’ Teaser: Thomas Vinterberg’s Coming-of-Age Story Is Set Amid Climate Change Disaster ‘The Rings of Power’ Season 2 Review: Amazon’s ‘Lord of the Rings’ Series Comes Into Its Own

In his review of Season 4 (seven episodes of which were screened for critics), IndieWire’s Ben Travers noted that the show may be in danger of celebrity cameo overload, but Season 4 leans in to a gimmick only occasionally deployed by its predecessors. At least three of the celebrities gracing this season play themselves — Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, and Zach Galifianakis — people whom they are acquainted with as much as and in the same way as viewers at home, which does a lot of free character work that doesn’t have to go into the actual writing.

Season 4’s premiere shakes things up elsewhere too. Every other season included early discovery of a body, and though Season 3 ended with Sazz (Jane Lynch) breathing her last on the floor of Charles’ apartment, she’s nowhere to be found in Season 4, Episode 1. The trio almost find it multiple times during a tense opening, only to reveal that the body and most traces have vanished. They spend the rest of the episode brushing closer and closer to the truth, and either diverting each other or the audience along the way. The episode’s final moments are some of the darkest in this show’s entire history, with no body instead but a pile of ashes presumed to be Sazz’s remains. The victim is not a beloved actor or prickly acquaintance like in Seasons 2 and 3, but a close friend of one of the main trio, like Tim Kono (Julian Cihi) back in Season 1. Charles sits there, holding one of his old pal’s metal joints from Bulgaria, shock and grief washing over him as he stares speechlessly at his friends.

So it’s more of the same on “Only Murders in the Building” — in a good way, as the reveal brings us back to ye olde podcast and TV show business plan, and also with enough creative resets at the top of Season 4 to promise fresh twists in the coming episodes.

The Season I Like Most

Bangladesh is the blue-eyed child. of nature and that is why she has embellished our country with fascinating sights, sounds and colours. Depending on these, we have six seasons in a year. Every season appears with its own hue, beauty and charm and I have a special fascination for the rainy season.

The rainy season sets in the month of July and continues till the end of August. This season has a great impact on the life of the people of Bangladesh and the whole nature. The season appears after the sweltering and humid weather of the summer. The roars of thunder with flashes of lightnings followed by heavy precipitations are the special characteristics of this season. In the season sometimes it pours with rain and sometimes it drizzles. Rain refreshes the whole nature.

In this season our countryside takes on a spectacular look. Rivers, canals, ponds, marshes, etc. are filled to the brim. Sometimes, water overflows their banks and reaches the very edge of our homesteads. People move in boats. In this season there is a plentiful supply of fishes. Catching fish with nets and rods is a common sight in this season.

The clattering sound of rain on tin-roofs or the pitter-patter sound creates an air of romanticism. The dark clouds in the sky veil the sunlight. People love to stay at home and enjoy special delicacies. Enchanting flowers like Keya, Kadam, Hasna-hena, Jui and Togor bloom in this season and spread their sweet fragrance all around.

In this season, the urban life also becomes attractive. The dust and dirts are washed away. People enjoy the soothing temperature. But it is also true that the torrential rain creates sufferings and difficulties to the poor shelterless people. In spite of the disadvantages, the rainy season has so many charming advantages and so, I have a fascination for this season.

The Season I Like Most Composition

Question:

Write a composition on The Season You Like Most / Your Favourite Season

The season i like most/ my favourite season  .

There are six seasons in Bangladesh. I like all the seasons but I like spring most. Spring is my favourite season and perhaps it is favourite to all. Spring comes to us with many pleasant things and bautiful scenes and sounds.

I like this season for many reasons. The summer is a season of terrible heat. Everybody feels uneasy. During the rainy season the roads become muddy. There is water everywhere. People can not move easily. They face many difficulties. During the early autumn and late autumn these

disadvantages do not wholly disappear. Winter also brings troubles. People shiver in cold. There is dense fog everywhere. The sun is hardly seen. The poor suffer a lot. But spring has none of these disadvantages. It has many attractive scenes and pleasant things. So I like the season most.

After winter the spring season comes with her lovely appearance. Spring is called the queen of seasons. It comes with pleasant sights and sounds. Fields and meadows become green. Flowers bloom in different trees. Birds sing from behind the new leaves. We hear the cuckoo singing sweetly. There are village fairs on various occasions.

During spring bees are busy in gathering honey. A gentle breeze blows. Everything looks gay and cheerful. It is also a season of fruits. Mango, black-berry, jack fruit, lichies have buds on them. Farmers also sow the seeds of jute and paddy.

Spring is the best of all seasons for its attractive sounds and sights. Our poets have praised this season.

Composition on The Season You Like Most

image_pdf

Question: Write a Composition on “ The Season You Like Most .”

Answer: There are six seasons in Bangladesh . Of all seasons, I like the spring most. It is the most charming and delightful season. It is the queen of all seasons. It is the loveliest and the most attractive season. It is favorable to all.

The scorching heat of the summer is unbearable. Everybody feels uncomfortable in the burning weather of the summer. Tanks, ponds, and rivers dry up and become muddy. People suffer a great deal. Then comes the rainy season. The sky remains cloudy. It rains cats and dogs. People are compelled to keep indoors. The autumn is a lovely season, no doubt. But it cannot be compared with the spring. After autumn comes the winter . The living creatures shiver with cold. Nature looks gloomy and dismal. Trees are leafless. Nature becomes bare and bald. Then comes up in the spring, my favorite season. There prevails an equable temperature. It is pleasant and lovely. Nature gets back its life in the spring. Trees are full of new leaves. With the advent of spring, nature puts on a gay and lively appearance. Every object of nature becomes fresh. Flowers bloom forth in thousands. They are of various colors. Some of them are sweet-smelling, some are exceedingly beautiful. The fine display of colors they present is really fascinating. Flowers attract bees and butterflies. Bees hum and fly from flower to flower in search of honey. The colorful wings of butterflies present a very charming sight.

As soon as the spring sets in, a gentle breeze from the south begins to blow. It spreads the sweet smell of flowers and makes the air balmy and fragrant. It passes through the fresh leaves and produces a sweet rustling sound in the air. To this music is added the sweet twittering of the birds. The wandering notes of the cuckoo make an appeal to our heart and stir our mind.

People feel very much refreshed and cheerful. Flowers bloom everywhere in the gardens, in the bushes, and in the forests. The spring is the season which gives delight to boys and girls, men and women, young and old. The spring is the season of joy, comfort, and vivacity. The spring makes our land beautiful with vegetation, light, and color. There are joy and liveliness on all sides.

But this season is very elusive in the sense that it comes and goes almost imperceptibly. Its duration is so short that it disappears before we have just begun to realize its charms. It does not oppress our mind with any lingering monotony. This shortness of its duration, is perhaps, one of the reasons why people like it most.
