PTE essay types

PTE essays come in various forms with many different topics. It’s really hard to cover all of them.

However, writing templates supply model responses, that match with specific types of prompts. Understanding each of them can help you apply suitable samples aligned with the essay request.

Here are the most common PTE essay types:

  • Argument: This type provides two sides of an argument. It requires you to take a stance on an issue and provide supporting evidence. Your goal is to persuade the reader of your viewpoint with reasonable explanations and examples.
  • Advantages and disadvantages: In this topic, you need to examine the pros and cons of a given topic, presenting a balanced assessment of its advantages and disadvantages.
  • Agree and disagree: This writing form will give you a point and ask you to state an opinion (agree or disagree). After that, you also need to explain your choice, and give some evidence and examples to support your idea.
  • Problems and solutions: In this essay, you have to identify a problem and propose solutions. Your essay should discuss the problem’s causes and effects and offer practical solutions.
  • Essay on a given topic:   Sometimes, PTE will provide a specific topic or question for you to address. Your task is to solve the required problem, respond concisely and directly to the prompt.

Overall, each type of prompt corresponds with one template writing. Before writing, you need to identify what types of topics you encounter to apply the right template.

Effective PTE essay writing template for maximum scores

Now that you know why templates are beneficial and the various essay types you might encounter, let’s delve into an effective PTE essay writing template that can help you score maximum points.

In general, each type of prompt has a different template to follow. However, it is normally based on a fixed essay skeleton including Introduction , Body paragraph , and Conclusion .  Below is the model outline you can consider:

Introduction (about 40-50 words)

In this part, you need to:

  • Start with a hook or a general statement related to the topic, remember to paraphrase the requirement.
  • Clearly state your thesis or main point.
  • Provide a brief overview of the points you will discuss.

Body paragraph (about 200 words)

This part often contains two single paragraphs. Each of them is about 100 words in length. The structure of the body can include:

  • Topic sentence: Begin each paragraph with a clear topic sentence that connects to your thesis.
  • Explanation (about 1-2 sentences): You need to give some reasons explicating your point. Don’t forget to use transition words to connect your ideas and maintain a smooth flow.
  • Supporting details (Optional): After explanation, it’s essential to provide evidence, examples, or statistics to support your topic sentence. With these details, your idea can be clarified better.
  • Counterargument (Optional): Last but not least, you can address opposing viewpoints and explain why they are less valid. This sentence would strengthen your statement, and make it more persuadable.

Conclusion (about 40-50 words)

At the end of all writing, a conclusion is unavoidable. This part asks you to:

  • Summarize your main points.
  • Restate your thesis or main point in another expression way.
  • Provide a closing thought or call to action related to the topic.

Above is the general format of the PTE essay. You also need to adapt this template to the specific essay type you’re writing.

For instance, an argumentative essay will require a stronger emphasis on presenting and refuting opposing views, while the agree and disagree article will focus more on expressing your viewpoint.

Notice that the given structure is for reference. You don’t need to follow it 100% when writing as long as you make sure that your ideas are supported well.

Provide a call to action: Governments should prioritize this fundamental right.

Paraphrase: The impact of technology on human creativity is a topic of considerable debate.

State your opinion: In this essay, I will argue that while technology has altered the creative landscape, it does not stifle creativity.

Topic sentence: Technology provides new avenues for the creative industry.

Explanation: Platforms like social media and digital art tools enable individuals to explore and showcase their creativity. Creators can connect to each other easily. Therefore, they can update, and learn from each other to improve themselves. Otherwise, the internet provides a wealth of information and inspiration at one’s fingertips.

Supporting details: For instance, websites like Freepik are provided to provide a wide range of materials for people to create their work.

Body paragraph 2:

Topic Sentence: Technology challenges individuals to adapt creatively.

Explanation: The rapid evolution of technology necessitates creative problem-solving and adaptation. This constant innovation not only fuels creativity in individuals and industries but also puts them under pressure. That they have to use this as a supporting tool, not let this replace them.

Supporting details: The appearance of chat GPT threatens the jobs of many people, especially content creators. However, it can not replace people. Instead, individuals use it to serve their work.

Conclusion: In conclusion, technology’s impact on creativity is multifaceted, and it can both enhance and challenge creative expression. Ultimately, creativity is not stifled by technology; it is redefined and enriched in the digital age.

Advantages and disadvantages essay

Prompt: “Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of online learning”

Paraphrase: The rise of online learning is a revelation of education, but it also raises pertinent questions regarding its advantages and disadvantages. In this essay, we will explore both sides of the online learning debate.

Body paragraph 1 (About advantages)

Topic sentence: Firstly, let’s look into some pros of online education.

Pros 1: Online learning offers flexibility and convenience. Learners can access courses from anywhere at their own pace. This flexibility accommodates diverse schedules and lifestyles. For example, during the COVID-19 pandemic, students still can access education via online learning platforms.

Pros 2:  Online learning reduces geographical barriers. It allows access to top-notch courses and instructors worldwide. This democratizes education and promotes inclusivity. For instance, people in Vietnam can easily take part in a workshop in the US on the Internet.

Body paragraph 2 (About disadvantages)

Topic sentence: Although it provides many advantages, online learning also has some side effects.

Cons 1: Online learning lacks the social interaction of traditional classrooms. Students miss out on face-to-face interactions and group dynamics. This can hinder the development of social skills and a sense of community.

Cons 2: Learning on the internet requires students to have suitable devices to connect. But not all students have that good life conditions. Poor people or those who live in remote areas would find it really difficult to access.

In conclusion, online learning presents a mixed bag of advantages and disadvantages. Its flexibility and accessibility are game-changers, but the absence of physical interaction and potential isolation are important considerations. A balanced approach to education must harness the best of both worlds.

Problems and solutions essay

Paraphrase: Air pollution in urban areas is a pressing issue with far-reaching consequences.

We will examine some causes and effects of this problem and propose effective solutions in this essay.

Body paragraph 1 (mention a cause and offer a solution for it) :

Cause: Urban air pollution is primarily caused by vehicle emissions. More and more cars are used nowadays, combined with the inadequate public transportation systems, elevating pollution in urban on the next level.

Solution: To solve this problem, it’s crucial to reduce vehicle emissions. Instead of driving cars, people can walk or use public transportation. In addition, the government implements strict emissions standards to control this problem.

Body paragraph 2:

Cause: In many areas of the world, millions of square kilometers of forest have been destroyed for human personal purposes. Forests are also considered as the green lungs of the earth. Lack of this natural shield, the air becomes more vulnerable.

Solution: People should protect and strive to cultivate more trees in the world. Moreover, the government also can intervene by enforcing strict regulations on deforestation.

In conclusion, urban air pollution is a multifaceted problem, but it is not insurmountable. As long as we take action to maintain and protect the air, cities can breathe easier and provide a healthier environment for their residents.

PTE Write Essay

PTE Write Essay is one of the only two tasks in PTE Academic Writing section, the other task is PTE Summarise Written Text .

In PTE Write Essay task, you will be

  • prompted with an essay topic, usually 2 -3 sentences.
  • writing a 200 – 300 word essay
  • given 20 minutes time limit to answer

In this PTE Write Essay, you should focus on writing for a purpose. Depending on the subject of essay topic, your purpose for example, could inform readers about a new trend and its implication or persuade readers on the view of a given topic.

To achieve your purpose, the essay content must contain additional information such as supporting your opinion with details and examples or even explanations as long as it could bring strong arguments.

Finally, the goal is to conceptualize and develop your ideas, arguments, examples and combine all aforementioned components to form the complete essay answer.

The most effective way to plan yourself is to familiarize the common types of topics in PTE Write Essay, as we are the expert in collecting real exam questions and our experience tells us that PTE essay topics can be roughly categorized in the following:

  • law and policy
  • Science and Technology
  • Environment

Obviously, this list is non exhaustive as there are some other odd question topics. so if you want to know more details about the actual topics and answers, please look into our PTE Exam Question Bank as it contains not only just real exam essay topics we have collected over the years but also model answers and useful essay template, which will help you to tackle this task.

Structure – 2 points:

Good essay writing requires concise and logical structure, PTE essay is no exception. In fact, PTE promotes a systematic structural approach with clear introduction, main body parts and conclusion, all which is designed to make the computerized marking system more effective.

The key feature of a high score essay is to ensure that paragraphs follow a natural flow of development, what it means is that the sequence of your paragraphs should easily identify strong correlations from paragraph A to paragraph B and to paragraph C. The content should be coherent, and you should avoid writing about unrelated loose elements.

Choice of words and sentence structure – 4 points:

Now, you understand the topic, and you have a plan of attack. Your score is determined by how you choose to deliver your response. In PTE Write Essay, you are assessed by using good choice of words and by structuring your response effectively and precisely while delivering your thoughts. In other words, you goal is to demonstrate your capability of using right choices of words (a sound grasp of vocabularies) and arrange them accordingly to eliminate ambiguity.

So you might be confused and say “I’m confused, what do you mean?”, let’s use below 2 sentences to illustrate our choice of words and observe the difference.

“Large shopping mall is making small shops lose sales and it’s causing them to close down .”

“Business for small shops is diminishing at an alarming rate and large shopping malls are the major contributor to this decline .”

Despite telling basically the same story, there is a striking contrast in the quality just by using a different sentence structure with right choice of words, if you could construct your response in a similar manner then it certainly would alleviate your score.

Content – 3 points:

The “main course” of the PTE Write Essay is to produce content that could address all aspects of a given topic and support your response with adequate examples or explanation.  This is where your brain switches on and get creative on the subject. But wait. Before you put yourself too deep in the train of thoughts, it is very important to read the prompt and make sure you FULLY UNDERSTAND the question.

1. Start by analysing the task

PTE Write Essay

Analysing these four areas will help you to approach the task, structure your essay and decide on your main ideas.

2. Take the time to plan your points

You may need to argue for and against an opinion or discuss advantages and disadvantages of a situation. If there is a statement followed by a question, read the question very carefully and note key words. Make sure you know what to do.

If it is an “agree or disagree” topic, you can either support or go against the topic when structuring your essay. Whatever side you choose, make sure you stick to it. Changing the mind halfway or wandering off topic will only waste your valuable time and impact your scores. The only way to stick to your points while writing in PTE exam would be to choose the direction you want your content to sway in and then not digress!

3. Construct your content

technology essay for pte

The content of your essay is crucial, which is scored by determining if all aspects of the topic have been addressed in the response and if provided details, examples and explanations are appropriately supporting the test taker’s point of view.

Be creative, as long as your idea is not off topic! If you do not address the topic, the response will be scored zero on all traits.

Spelling, Grammar, Formal – 6 points

Very simple and self explanatory, you will be awarded :

  • 2 points for no spelling error
  • 2 points for no obvious grammar mistakes
  • 2 points for writing within 200-300 words

These should be easy marks you must capitalize on, especially for writing with in the word limit as there is a word count display during the test.

Total 15 points.

Sample Essay - PTE Real Exam Essay Topic

Let’s have a look at one real exam essay topic and here is our interpretation on this task:

In a cashless society, people use more credit cards, do you think cashless society is realistic and why? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

Cashless society is in the centre of discussion in recent times, substantial arguments have been raised on whether or not we should embrace cashless transaction. Needless to say, cashless movement is inevitable as there has been an upsurge in the adoption of electronic payment from the public. Therefore, both side of the equation associated with such payment method will be discussed to provide detailed insights on the implication in cashless adoption.

To achieve cashless, one must first acknowledge that there is a plethora of benefits associated with cashless transaction. In the modern world where society is moving at increasingly faster pace, convenience is an undisputed selling point in many technological advances. Unlike cash payment, electronic payments not only speed up the action of moving money from one party to another but also eliminate the need to perform difference calculation which is susceptible to human error. As the entire process is computerized in the absence of physical contact, its simplicity therefore allows faster, accurate and most of all, convenient transactional experience.

On the other hand, moving to cashless usually implies surrendering one’s anonymity as each electronic transaction is documented. Generally speaking, most cashless transaction uses credit or debit card issued by financial institutes that profiles individuals spending patterns. The data compiled by these banks could be used for exploitative nature such as targeted advertising or other invasive agendas. Regardless one’s choice between convenience or privacy, its drawback should not be overlooked.

In light of discussion above, it can be concluded that the impact of credit card is prominent, although the way electronic transactions might invade privacy should not be overlooked.

Coherence means that you should connect your ideas with each other and are trying to prove one single point. Organization means that you should arrange your ideas in order.

Grammar plays a very crucial role when writing essays. Grammatical errors such as incorrect usage of pronouns, verb tenses, etc., can lead to poor grades. Therefore, it is essential to learn English grammar rules correctly so that you don’t commit any grammatical mistakes during the course of writing.

To score higher, you should avoid using words that you do not know how to use.

Spelling is an important criterion in PTE essay writing. If you make one spelling mistake, you will lose one point and if you make more than one spelling error, you will get zero in spelling.

The most important thing about PTE essay writing is that you should write an essay with a linguistic range and diversity. Linguistic range and diversity mean your ability to express yourself through different types of structures and expressions.

You should ensure that you use appropriate vocabulary and expressions. In addition, you should use proper sentence structures and punctuation marks.

What is a great PTE essay structure?

A good essay structure includes three main parts: introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Each part has its own purpose. Let’s see them together!

Introduction

The introduction to an essay is one of the most important parts because it provides the reader with an overview of what the essay is about. Your introduction should be clear and interesting to grab readers’ attention and entice them to read your essay.

At the end of your introduction paragraph, write a thesis statement. A thesis statement provides a framework for an argument or an analysis. A thesis statement typically includes the author’s perspective and can be in either of two forms- a sentence or a single, complete paragraph.

Let’s say I am writing about the use of technology in the classroom, then I can start my essay like below:

Technology in the classroom is an issue that teachers debate. While some teachers believe that it can be a distraction, others believe that it can be a useful tool. Personally, I believe that technology may distract students, but it can also help students if used in the right way.

In this introduction, my thesis statement is: Personally, I believe that technology may distract students, but it can also help students if used in the right way.

Body Paragraphs:

Now, divide the body of your essay into at least 2 body paragraphs. In each paragraph, try to write about the thesis statement in your introduction. As an example, if I am writing about using technology in classrooms and if my thesis statement is “Technology can be a distraction in the classroom but can also help students if used in the right way”, then my body paragraph can look like this:

“Many people believe that technology can be a distraction in the classroom. For teachers, it takes a lot of time and effort to keep up with all the new gadgets that are being created. For students, distractions from technology can lead to lower test scores and less interest in learning. It is important for schools to have a plan for the use of technology to avoid these distractions.”

The first point I made in the thesis statement is that “ technology may distract students”. Therefore, in this paragraph, I am talking about how technology can lead to distractions and what types of problems it may lead to.

Since my second point in the thesis statement is that it can also help students if used in the right way, my second body paragraph can be like this:

“However, technology is a powerful tool for many aspects of the learning experience. With technology, students can learn anytime, anywhere, and at their own pace. Students can explore deeper and more complex topics at their own level without the limitations of a teacher’s lesson plan. Students can also collaborate on group projects from across the globe with technology that allows them to work together face-to-face in real-time.”

The second point I made in the thesis statement is that “ it can also help students if used in the right way”. Therefore, in this paragraph, I am talking about how students can benefit from the use of technology in the classroom.

The conclusion is the final paragraph of an essay. It sums up what has been said, and it reinforces the main points. It should be short and to the point. Usually, the conclusion includes a re-statement of the thesis statement or a call for action.

In conclusion, technology can be a distraction in classrooms; however, it can also be a helpful tool. Overall, it is important to find a balance between the benefits of technology and the distractions of technology.

Now, you can see that I am concluding by restating my thesis statement as a summary of what I discussed in the body paragraph. It is important that you do no introduce any new ideas in the conclusion.

Tips for writing an Excellent PTE Essay

Find a good essay writing template.

There are many templates you can find online, but it is also important to have some that you have created. The only way an essay will be effective is if it is well-organized and thought out. The idea is to use a template that takes care of all the seven criteria of evaluation and you can focus on writing an essay that answers the question.

Some people think that students benefit from going to private secondary schools. Others, however, feel that private secondary schools can have a negative effect on society as a whole. Discuss.

Answer:

Numerous people believe that pursuing secondary education from a private organization can be beneficial for learners, while others feel that it can lead to several drawbacks to the community. Both have valid reasons.

On the one hand, private schools ensure that the aspirants have the access to the best quality resources and facilities. It can not only influence their learning capabilities but also helps in creating a foundation for their career. In addition, private organizations make sure that each progeny gets the required attention, which can help them to clarify all the doubts and understand a concept well. For instance, BCM Secondary school, which is situated in ludhiana, has multiple sections including a small number of students so that each learner gets the desired attention from the instructor. Moreover, private schools offer students a wide variety of extra-curricular activities which keeps the learners engaged and active at the same time.

On the other hand, private schools can have a downside for society as the students of these schools  might feel superior to the students of public schools and they might feel a sense of being at the upper position in a hierarchy. Also, it can divide society into two different kinds which can have a negative effect on the relations of kids as well as their parents. To exemplify, school goers often tend to lose respect for other kids in their vicinity and might talk to them in an ill-mannered way, which can lead to arguments and hinder peace in society.

To encapsulate, attaining higher education from a private organization can immensely upscale the education of a student but at the same time, it may lead to some circumstances that can deteriorate the relations in the community.

Successful sports stars and glamorous film stars are role models for youngsters. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

It is believed by many that celebrities leave an ever-lasting impression on teenagers and act as role models for young people. In my view, these superstars can majorly impact one's life and motivate one to work towards their goals.

With the advancement of technology and social media platforms, one can easily get to know what a film star is up to and constantly see their progress. Due to this, teenagers can see all the projects that a celebrity is working on and it can motivate them to work hard as well on their goals. Moreover, the boldness and courage of these artists encourage children to showcase their talent as well. For instance, Arijit Singh, who is one of the best singers in India, recently organized a challenge in which his fans had to sing any one of his songs and post them on Instagram. This trend not only helped the youngsters to showcase their talent but also helped them gain popularity as the singer reacted to the different submissions.

Moreover, there are a lot of documentaries and interviews held in which the celebrities share their life story and elaborate on how they worked hard for their careers. As a result, this makes a young person realize the hardships of life and the value of determination. In addition, sports stars influence the younger generation to stay active and energetic by exercising daily rather than being couch potatoes. To exemplify, Virat Kohli, a cricketer in the Indian cricket team, recently launched his fitness app in which people can set up a workout routine for themselves.

To conclude, it can undeniably be said that film stars and sportspersons are shaping the minds of youngsters these days and leading them in the right direction.

PTE Writing Sample Question: 4

Some people prefer to play team sports, while others prefer to play individual sports. Discuss the advantages of each. Then indicate which you prefer and why?

Numerous individuals prefer to play sports which consist of different teams whereas others like to go for sports in which players have to perform individually. Both methods have respective merits but in my view, team sports tend to inculcate a plethora of values in a sportsperson.

On the one hand, playing with your teammates makes one realize the importance of collective effort and unity because the overall success is due to the hard work and determination of the team. Also, it instills values such as cooperation, understanding, bonding and group effort to name a few. For instance, sports such as hockey and cricket are a prime reference that winning is attained by the collective effort and strategies followed by the whole team. In addition, various parents encourage their wards to participate in group sports so that their children can learn social skills as well as team spirit.

On the other hand, sports involving a single player can hone one's skills and lead one towards perfection. It not only makes one responsible for their success but also creates a mindset of competitiveness, which can help one to grow in their respective field of sport. Furthermore, it makes one a specialist in their endeavor and one is known for their extreme hard work and determination. For illustration, Viswanathan Anand, who is a renowned chess player in Indian history is known for his sharp mind and his quick responses in the game of chess.

In my opinion, team sports are responsible for personal as well as the overall growth of a player and make one realize the importance of other people's efforts as well. Moreover, it also teaches us to celebrate success collectively.

To conclude, there are numerous benefits of playing group sports as well as individually; however, I believe that it is team sports which makes an individual grow and respect other players as well.

PTE Writing Sample Question: 5

It is argued that getting married before finishing school or getting a job is not a good choice. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is believed by many that one should get married after completing higher education or when one is earning well. I completely agree with the given notion as one should have a financial foundation before starting a new life with their partner.

It is highly preferred that one should finish their education before getting married as education builds one's future and career, as it lays down the foundation of an individual's dreams and ambitions. Also, an individual tends to shift their focus from studying to earning if they get married at an early stage of their life. For instance,  a plethora of people drop out of their colleges or universities and start a day job because they have to support their families after getting married and lose a chance to complete their education. Hence, one should complete their finishing school before they decide to get married.

Moreover, it is really essential that one should be financially stable and has a secure job before making a decision to get married because there are numerous responsibilities and duties that one has to take care of after getting married. Furthermore, an individual needs to earn well as marriage comes along with an increase in household expenditures. For example, when one starts a family, one needs to be economically stable in order to afford the new lifestyle full of changes.

To conclude, it is not a wise decision to get married before finishing school or having a stable source of income.

In order to get marks in the benchmark of Development, structure and coherence , several discourse markers have been used.

There are no grammatical errors in the provided PTE essay template, and it has been written using a wide range of complex grammatical structures to meet the standard for Grammar .

This week, I got low marks in writing in the PTE exam because I used the Language Academy essay template. The same is also applicable to Describe Image and Retell Lecture in speaking. Are there any changes in the marking algorithms? Is it still safe to use your essay template as well as DI & RL templates?

Gaurav Thapa

If you have used templates from Language Academy and still got low marks, the reason might not be the template. Score for Writing does not only depend on the essay question but also on questions from Reading and the Listening sections. Therefore, just changing the format will not mean the scores will change. However, you can freely use the format provided here. My students use them regularly and get good scores. It is definitely working Abhijit. Best of luck.

gurman

is this template working i have examon next month so please can you tell me that this template is going to work properly or not ? please

Feel free to use this template Gurman. It works 100 percent.

Manjinder

Have you given exam did you use this?

Hi will this template work till February 2025

As long as no changes are made by Pearson, this template should work forever. However, we update the format from time to time just to refresh things.

Cai

I am going to take PTE next week. Can I still use this template in WE and still have a good score up to this time?

Shalini

If you can type an essay without making any mistakes in grammar and spelling, any format would work. Heck, you can even type random nonsense and get good score in the test. The AI only detects typing accuracy and keywords.

Thank you for your reply.

Hi did you used this template. Is it working?

Adam

Hi, I just watched one youtube video about the latest change in PTE 2023 (he just uploaded on 23/9/2023). He mentioned that ONE WORD template seems to give you lower marks than full-sentence template, is that true?

It is not correct Adam. You can safely use the template provided here.

Tu

Hi admin I have heard many people said that using this type of template will make you get 0 score. I’m just afraid if this still works bc I want to ensure that I at least get a good score in writing essays

You will not get 0 if you use this format. You can see many comments here of candidates who used this template and scored well. In fact, I am a PTE instructor, and my students have been using this format successfully for a long time. If you can type this format correctly without any mistakes, I can guarantee that you will ace your essay question.

rima

hi Gaurav, is this format still working in 2024?

Yes. Go ahead and use it. Good luck.

Ahsen

Thanks for sharing, but can we use the terms advantages/ disadvantages, cause/ effect and problems/solution in one assay? Don’t we have to put them according to the type of assay question?

You can use this format as it is.

Nikhil Singh

how do you know that template is working or not in a real PTE exam?

My students are still using this format in their tests with good results. So, you can be assured that this works.

how do you know that template is working in real PTE exam?

Oswin

This template definitely works. I took my PTE exam on last Monday and scored a perfect 90 in all sections while using this essay template.

Congratulations Oswin.

Aman

Hi gaurav thanks for the template, just wanted to ask if we put in the keywords as you mentioned as in the following essay, some websites and even grammly gives grammar errors, as the keywords need to start with “the” or “a” for that matter. can you help ?

A serious amount of worldwide attention has been drawn to the topic of “the” use of car . Because of the existence of evidence in favor of as well as against the approval of “an”  alternative means of transportation , the issue of “the” environment  has been a point of critical concern. Consequently, this essay is going to be about  alternative means of transportation , and I will implore the advantages and disadvantages of  use of car  with the assistance of likely causes, effects, and solutions in order to reach a resolution on  environment  with the help of reasons and examples.

Due to the preponderance of positive arguments regarding  alternative means of transportation , people have embraced the significant role that the matter of  environment  plays and the merits of the situation about  environment . Essentially, we cannot ignore that the question of  environment  is decisive. For instance, there are people who analyze the pros of  use of car  along with the causes before acceptance.

Generally, along with the demerits of  use of car , the impacts also demand careful analysis. Here, we cannot overlook that certain assertions give rise to the idea that the consequence of  use of car  is terrible as there are plenty of examples where inadvertent implications of  alternative means of transportation  have been discovered.

In conclusion, despite the claims put forward in this essay, it is apparent that the impact and the outcome of  use of car  are disputable. Just examining the merits of  alternative means of transportation  is futile because there are refutations relating to  use of car  which muddle the case.

Thank god Grammarly isn’t used to check PTE essays. Omitting articles in places where they are absolutely essential is a big mistake. However, in the essay template here, articles can safely be avoided because the structures are correct with or without one. Yes, inserting the articles as you have pointed out makes the sentences better, but the sentences are not wrong without the articles.

🙂 thanks bro, appreciate your prompt reply.

Dikshit

this template is not working dont use it

You should know that the Essay question carries very low marks in terms of the overall Writing score in the PTE test. Out of 90, this question does not even carry 12 marks. The most important questions for Writing are Write from Dictation in the Listening section and the two types of Fill in the Blanks in the Reading section. Learn more about PTE marking here: https://www.pteielts.com/pte-marking-system-2023/#The_complete_PTE_Score_Guide_2023_for_all_20_question_types_in_PTE

dude my all other mudule was write i just got 50% in extended writing

Resham Magar

Check your writing man. You misspelled “module” and “right” even in this comment. I seriously doubt if you can type correctly. Maybe that is the reason you did not score well.

Hamza

this template is not working in language academy application. but i was putting this template in apeuni , i got 15 /15marks.

Sir can i use this template without any risk? because it will 2nd attempt Paper.

The most important thing to know is that Essay question carries only a small amount of marks in the PTE test. Write from Dictation, Summarize Spoken Text, and Fill in the Blanks questions are more important. Even if you get the full score in Essay question, your overall Writing score might still be less. Please keep that in mind.

As far as Essay questions are concerned, this template will get you the full score. Different practice softwares like ApeUni and Language Academy have their own system of marking, but this format is perfectly designed to get the full score in the actual PTE test.

Hi did you use is it working?

and one of my friend used other template and he got 80% in extended writing

Arjav

Hi, Gaurav I have memorized the old template, Can I use old templete? Thanks…

Yes. I made this new format just for a change. You can still use the old one.

Seudy El

Hi, I was wondering if this template is worked for band 7 or more?

It works Dikshit. Please share your experience after your results.

im giving exam at 29th i will let you know what ever it is

did you use this template during your real PTE test?

Hi did you write this essay your exam and does this essay works please tell me.

Sam

This template doesn’t give direct examples and rationale arguments or reasons related to the main topic. will not that impact the score in terms of content, logic, coherence and cohesion? Is it really safe to use it despite all of that? and what about plagiarism, if other students use it on the same exam, the algorithm will not caught them?

The algorithm used by PTE does not detect the things you have mentioned. So, please be assured that this template works. To know more about how the PTE software works, visit this page: https://www.pteielts.com/pte-marking-system-2023/

How much template in this PTE essay

Ali

HI Admin, your essay template is working, please let me know I’m going to memorize it, i used a different essay template in my first exam and did not work.

It works Alex, so don’t worry about using it. However, remember that doing well in the essay question alone will not get you a high score in the test.

thank you so much for your reply, how many formats are, and can i use it for any topics, eg, problem or adv, disadv and agree, disagree

You can use this format here for any type of essay. Best of luck.

God bless you, I will share my experience after the exam.

mangcik

hi bro, how about your exam especially about your essay? is this template works?

“It has long been a subject of discussion whether (topic) or not. In my opinion, the former notion has several elements ……”

does this essay template still work?

I am not sure which essay template you are talking about. But, if it did work in the past, then it should also be working now. Unlike several claims made online, you can use whichever format you like provided that there are no grammatical or spelling mistakes.

But if you want to be on the safe side, you can use the format provided here. Best of luck.

Lou

Do not use this template. I got very low mark from writing because of this. Such a scam

I am so sorry to hear about your score Lou. But have you considered that the essay question alone contributes very low marks for the overall Writing score? In fact, out of 90, only about 11 marks depend on essay question. Instead of Write Essay questions, Write from Dictation and Summarize Spoken Text questions are more important for the Writing section.

Ketan patel

is it workable i m afraid to use it. My exam on 7th july

Feel free to use it Ketan. My students have used this format as recently as last Sunday to get a good score in the test.

Hi did you use this template, does it works?

ZiyadCarter

Is this Template Still Working?

Yes it is. The rumor that old templates are not working may be true, but this template is a new one.

Dinesh

I used this template in the real PTE test yesterday. Sadly, I think it doesn’t work. I got 75 in writing. I have checked all the grammars for every keywords in the essay too. However, I got 2 essays. Is it because I use the same templates for both of the essays? I will write without template in the future.

I am sorry to hear that you got only 75 in Writing. Although 75 is a good score, I think you needed 79+. Anyway, the reason is not using this template twice. You should remember that Writing score in the PTE test depends not only on Write Essay question but also on Summarize Written Text, Reading and Writing Fill in the Blanks, Summarize Spoken Text, Listening Fill in the Blanks and Write From Dictation. So, you have to do well in those questions as well to get a high score in Writing. To understand PTE scoring better, go to this link: https://www.pteielts.com/pte-marking-system-2023/

Same this template doesn’t work I got 62 but other parts like speaking and reading i Got 80+

Jessica

I have my test tomorrow. Please assure me it is still working as I know some templates don’t work anymore.

It works like a charm Jessica. But always remember, only using this format cannot guarantee the full score in Writing. You have to put more effort on Write from Dictation, Summarize Spoken Text, Fill in the Blanks, and other questions.

Dheivanai

How many essay writing appear in the exam?

Sometimes you get one, while other times you get two. You can use the same template twice if you get two essay questions. Go to this page for a complete breakdown of the PTE test format: https://www.pteielts.com/pte-test-format/

Thanks Gaurav

Hajar

Hello, every body. is the template useful for PTE test to get high band in writing ? and not as plagiarism ? However, this is first time for me to do this test if some one get high band when used this template pleas let me know thank you

Swati

Don’t worry bro. Just don’t make any mistake while typing this format.

Ok .Thank you for your response 🌸

sachin

this template is very useful in PTE exam…. and thanks

I appreciate your feedback Sachin.

DEVI VAIRAV

The above essay template is still working or not?

Test takers have used this essay format as recently as May 2023 for a perfect score in PTE. So go ahead and use it in your own test. Best of luck.

Thanks for your response.

In June 2023 anyone using the same template because many YouTube videos are saying one word template is not working? In June 2023 two essays instead of one appear in writing module?

You can use this or any other similar template in the PTE test. The template can have one-word topic or multiple words. The only things that matter are correct grammar and spelling.

Also, you might get one or two essays in the test. It is randomly decided, so it depends on your luck.

If two essays appear in the exam we can use the same template or we can use different templates for both essay?

You can use the same format twice.

Amanda Carosella

Can this PTE structure be used for a agree/disagree essay or problem solving essay or any other type of essay it would be?

Yes this structure can be used for any essay type asked in the PTE test. You just need to use the right keywords. Best of luck.

Gunjan

Hi Gaurav, please confirm is this essay templet is still working?? I am planning to give PTE test soon. I have tried with multiple essays and this templet is very usable.

Just wanted to confirm once can I use this in the PTE exam?

Prompt response will be highly appreciated.

Dear Gunjan, as of May 2023, test takers are still using this template in the PTE test and reporting a high score in the Writing section. So, don’t hesitate to use it in your own test.

However, you should keep in mind that only Essay questions will not get you a high score in the Writing section. Write from Dictation, Reading & Writing: Fill in the Blanks, Summarize Spoken Text and Summarize Written Text questions carry more marks for Writing than Essay questions.

Anyway, good luck for your test.

Meme

I don’t get this sentence. To understand easily can you rephrase? For example, there are individuals who analyze the benefits of [topic keyword] along with the causes before adoption.

Here you go: Before adopting (something), people analyze its benefits and causes.

Thank you for answering my question. Does this “something” need to be a keyword?

Yes. Best of luck for your PTE preparation.

MGH

Has anyone tested this strategy on a real PTE exam?

Parham

yes, i used the templates and got 90 on writing

Rima

Kindly, are you surely this template still working?

Anju

Yes, it works.

Ayman Amin

Is the essay templet still working or no ?

AD

It works. This PTE essay template will get you the full score.

Yes it works perfectly fine. Using this template will definitely get you the full score on this item.

abu haraira

[email protected] kindly contact me

alex

What if I just use the same keyword always instead of changing. can I get a high score ? in two examples you changed the keywords. is it necessary? thanks

You can use the same keyword if you don’t feel like changing it. It doesn’t matter.

thanks, I’m exercising with APEuni and following your template, using the same keyword for all the sentences, I’m getting 14/15 which is pretty good for me. I’m loosing one point on Development, structure and coherence almost all the time.

Although you are getting 14/15 on ApeUni, you will get full 15 on the actual PTE test. Best of luck.

Mari

Isn’t this plagiarism? Won’t the computer notice?

Honestly speaking, it is plagiarism. Ideally, a test taker should learn how to write an argumentative essay alongside using correct grammatical structures and appropriate vocabulary. However, my personal experiments as well as those done by others all over the world have proved that you can use a ready-made template in the test. In fact, everyone can use the same template over and over again, but the computer doesn’t care.

Therefore, it is up to the candidate appearing for the PTE test to decide whether they want to go the proper route by improving their essay writing ability or simply “cheat” the test by copying this format provided here. If the essay fulfils the criteria mentioned in this article, you can score good in the test. Plagiarism, it seems, isn’t a criteria.

rabia

is it workable i m afraid to use it

It is perfectly fine to use this ready-made essay in your own PTE test. It has been tried in the actual test with success. However, you should remember that only doing this question perfectly doesn’t mean you will get full score in the Writing module. There are other questions to worry about as well. Refer to this page for more details: https://www.pteielts.com/pte-marking-system-2022/

Roney

Such an easy PTE essay template to remember. Thank you so much.

I am happy that you liked my PTE essay template.

Rana

Sir I am not good in Reading please give me the tricks

If you are not already very good in answering Reading questions, you can start learning all the rules of grammar. Most questions are based on your knowledge of grammar. However, if you don’t have much time, you can practice all the past questions, which are easily available online. Most questions in the test are repeated. Best of luck.

Mastering PTE Essays: Your Winning Formula for 89+ Scores

Your search for the ideal PTE Essay template ends now! While you may have encountered many PTE writing essay templates, Edulyte offers the best template for the PTE exam. Go ahead and take your PTE prep to the next level with our essay template for PTE. Each component of the PTE essay is explained in the template to empower you to write scoring essays quickly.

Introduction for the PTE Essay

Your essay should begin with an attention-grabbing introduction. Our template for writing essays in PTE is based on instructions from Edulyte’s mentors.

These include:

  • Start with a clear and concise introduction.
  • State the topic of your essay and provide some background information.
  • Include a thesis statement outlining your essay’s main point or argument.

Social media has become integral to our daily lives, revolutionising how we communicate, share information, and interact with the world. Social media has a profound and multi-pronged effect on contemporary society, examining its advantages and disadvantages, and its role in shaping our lives.

Body Paragraphs for the PTE Essay

Moving on to the main body of your essay, here is the section where you present your arguments clearly and concisely. Our essay template for the PTE exam gives you an accurate idea of how to approach this part of the essay.

Instructions:

  • Each body paragraph should focus on a single point or idea that supports your thesis statement.
  • Start each paragraph with a topic sentence that introduces the paragraph’s main point.
  • Provide evidence or examples to help your point. It can include personal experiences, facts, statistics, or quotes.
  • Explain how the evidence or examples relate to your argument.
  • Use transition words and phrases to ensure smooth transitions between paragraphs.

Firstly, social media has transformed the way we connect. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram enable us to stay in touch with friends and family, regardless of geographical distances. The convenience of instant messaging and video calls has bridged gaps and brought people closer together. It is substantiated by the act that there are around 4.8 billion social media users globally today.

Secondly, social media has amplified the dissemination of information. News and events spread rapidly through these platforms, providing real-time updates on global affairs. It has empowered citizens to stay informed, express their opinions, and discuss important issues. People base their opinions about current events and social issues based on what they read on social media.

Counter argument (if applicable) for the PTE Essay

This segment of your essay should have a counterargument. It must precisely place rational points against the ones you have mentioned in your earlier arguments. In our PTE essay template, you can see that social media’s ill effects are clearly mentioned.

  • If there is a counterargument to your thesis, acknowledge it in a separate paragraph.
  • Present the counterargument fairly and objectively.
  • Refute the counterargument by providing evidence or reasons why it is not valid.

However, social media’s influence is not without its drawbacks. One primary concern is the spread of misinformation and fake news, which can have significant consequences. The viral nature of social media can lead to the rapid dissemination of false information, causing panic and confusion. As per a study, more than 80% of social media users believe it affects their mental well-being.

Some argue that social media has led to increased social isolation and addiction. Excessive use of platforms like Instagram can lead to feelings of inadequacy and lower self-esteem as individuals compare themselves to idealised images portrayed online.

Conclusion for the PTE Essay

Wind up your essay on a note that showcases a balance of arguments and counterarguments. In this PTE easy essay template, you can read the conclusion about the influence of social media.

  • Summarise the main points of your essay.
  • Restate your thesis statement in different words.
  • Provide a concluding thought or insight that leaves a lasting impression on the reader.
  • Avoid introducing new information in the conclusion.

In conclusion, social media has profoundly impacted our lives, enhancing communication and information sharing. Nevertheless, we must remain vigilant against the negative consequences, such as misinformation and addiction. To harness the benefits of social media while mitigating its drawbacks, individuals must use these platforms responsibly and critically. Social media is a tool that can connect us, inform us, and empower us, but it is our responsibility to ensure it enhances our lives rather than detracts from them.

Vital Tips for Writing the PTE Essay

Along with the critical instructions mentioned above, follow these fail-proof strategies to write an impressive essay:

  • Use clear and concise language.
  • Vary your sentence structure to make your essay more engaging.
  • Check for grammar and spelling errors.
  • Avoid overly complex vocabulary if it doesn’t enhance the clarity of your essay.
  • Stay within the word limit specified for the essay task.

PTE Daily Essay Topic: Do you think English will remain a global language despite globalisation?

Brainstorming Ideas

a) The English language has become so ingrained in our global psyche, cultures, and daily lives that its significance transcends even globalization.  English will remain the global language despite globalisation or any other phenomenon.

b) Globalization has arguably bolstered English’s importance. It has ushered in a paradigm shift, solidifying English as the dominant professional language and the primary mode of communication in workplaces worldwide.

c) The rise of English-speaking nations like the US and the UK has undoubtedly cemented English’s iron-clad status quo. To compete and thrive on the international stage, many of us strive for English proficiency.

d) This dynamic isn’t readily apparent with other languages. It’s improbable, for instance, to envision Mandarin or Sanskrit assuming the role of a global communication language.

e) Therefore, to conclude, I would like to state that despite the forces of globalization, English will remain a dominant global language.

Ans : The English language has become so ingrained in our global psyche, cultures, and daily lives that its significance transcends even globalization. No matter what the future holds, English’s irrelevance seems highly unlikely. Hence, I ardently believe that English will remain the global language despite globalisation or any other phenomenon.

Contrary to popular belief, globalisation has arguably bolstered English’s importance. It has ushered in a paradigm shift, solidifying English as the dominant professional language and the primary mode of communication in workplaces worldwide. The language is so deeply woven into our hyper-connected world that its fading relevance is simply unimaginable. It’s inconceivable that another language will swiftly replace English as the global language.

Today, groundbreaking information is first published predominantly in English. This naturally fuels the desire to learn the language and stay abreast of the latest advancements in any field. The rise of English-speaking nations like the US and the UK has undoubtedly cemented English’s iron-clad status quo. To compete and thrive on the international stage, many of us strive for English proficiency. These nations have set such a high bar that, for our benefit, we’re compelled to learn and master English to collaborate with them effectively.

This dynamic isn’t readily apparent with other languages. It’s improbable, for instance, to envision Mandarin or Sanskrit assuming the role of a global communication language. We, the global community, aspire to the level achieved by English-speaking nations, and that necessitates communication on their terms. There’s no current viable alternative to English.

Therefore, to conclude, I would like to state that despite the forces of globalization, English will remain a dominant global language. It’s unlikely to be dethroned as the primary mode of communication on the world stage.

Paraphrased Statement: English will remain the global language despite globalisation or any other phenomenon. No matter what the future holds, English’s irrelevance seems highly unlikely.

Body Paragraph 2 – Topic Sentence: Today, groundbreaking information is first published predominantly in English. This naturally fuels the desire to learn the language and stay abreast of the latest advancements in any field.

Body Paragraph 2  Supporting Reasons and Explanations:  The rise of English-speaking nations like the US and the UK has undoubtedly cemented English’s iron-clad status quo. To compete and thrive on the international stage, many of us strive for English proficiency. These nations have set such a high bar that, for our benefit, we’re compelled to learn and master English to collaborate with them effectively.

How Mike Okonkwo Essay Competition Powers Technology Education

The Mike Okonkwo National Essay Competition has established itself as one of Nigeria’s most prestigious and soughtafter competitions. This annual essay competition, which was established to promote intellectual development and the growth of young minds, has become an important platform for Nigerian students to demonstrate their writing skills and critical thinking abilities. As the organising committee announces the entries for the 19th edition, ROLAND OGBONNAYA writes about the competition’s significance and impact over the years.

The Mike Okonkwo National Essay Competition is one of Nigeria’s most prestigious competitions, and it is specifically designed for secondary school students nationwide. This highly regarded competition was founded to provide a forum for young minds to express their opinions on current issues and demonstrate their writing abilities. Dr. Mike Okonkwo, a well-known cleric and philanthropist in Nigeria, was the driving force behind the competition’s inception and continued existence.

Okonkwo founded the competition in 2004 because he was passionate about education and wanted to contribute to the development of future leaders. Recognising the power of the written word in shaping societal beliefs and fostering intellectual growth, he sought to encourage young Nigerians to improve their writing skills and engage in critical thinking. He hoped that the essay competition would allow students to express their opinions on current issues and contribute positively to national discourse.

The competition has always been open to all Nigerian secondary school students, including those from private and public schools. The competition’s topics are carefully chosen to address current issues that are important to the students’ lives and understanding of Nigerian society. These subjects frequently include leadership, ethics, governance, social justice, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.

Dr. Okonkwo formed a committee to oversee the selection process to ensure the competition was conducted fairly and transparently. This committee is made up of experienced educators, writers, and scholars who have the necessary expertise to evaluate and judge the essays objectively. The committee members, chaired by Prof. Akachi Ezeigbo, evaluate the submissions using a variety of criteria, including originality, clarity of thought, coherence, grammar, and topic adherence.

The Mike Okonkwo National Essay Competition has been recognised and supported by prominent individuals and organisations throughout Nigeria. Over the years, Dr. Mike Okonkwo has collaborated with a variety of corporate institutions, educational bodies, and public figures to ensure the competition’s success. These collaborations have improved the prize packages available to the winners, which typically include educational grants, laptop computers, books, and other valuable resources to help them with their academic endeavours.

The competition has expanded and had a significant impact since its inception. It has inspired thousands of secondary students to improve their writing skills and gain a better understanding of societal issues. The essay competition is now an annual event that students, teachers, and education stakeholders all over the country look forward to. It not only recognises and rewards outstanding young writers, but it also creates a nurturing environment that encourages academic excellence.

Last year, the winners of the Mike Okonkwo Essay competition received N750,000, computers, and other prizes. Destiny Ike of VIK International School, Akere Alagbado in Ogun State was named overall winner in 2023, with Chibuzor Alexander of Archbishop Heerey Technical College, Ogidi in Anambra State coming in second place.

The winners of the 18th edition of the essay competition were Ike, who received a cheque for N500,000, a trophy, and a plaque, and Alexander, who received a cheque for N250,000, a plaque, and a set of computers for the school. The theme of this year’s essay was “Nigerianisation of Nigerians: A Look Inward.” According to the competition’s Chief Examiner, Prof. Akachi Ezeigbo, Ike, and Alexander won the coveted trophy for writing with commendable passion and independent thinking about a topic within their age group.

The winners received their prizes at the Mike Okonkwo Annual Lecture on September 7, 2023. The theme of this year’s lecture was “Nigerianisation of Nigerians: A Look Inward”.

While congratulating the winners, the Chief Examiner said: “We congratulate and present them as exemplars of young people determined to forge their path through critical use of easy ways.” She added, “This year, we are limited to presenting an overall winner and only one runner-up, as opposed to the usual practice of presenting one winner and two runners-up. As is customary, a large percentage of the entries we received were unsuitable for consideration.

They were either lifted directly from online sources and presented as original content, or they were revised and presented as such. “We are used to this practice among young people, so we spent a significant amount of time tracking the essays on the internet by our quality assurance procedures.” Mike Okonkwo National Essay Competition was established in 2004 as part of activities to commemorate and mark the birthday of Dr Mike Okonkwo, Presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), and, more importantly, to contribute to the development of the education sector.

Dr. Mike Okonkwo has continued this gesture for the past 19 years, using his God-given talent, strength, and resources to bless the younger generation in their pursuit of academic excellence by encouraging them to cultivate the habit of reading and writing effectively.

Bishop Okonkwo, who believes in mankind’s complete development in all aspects of life, has continued to use the essay competition to realise this dream and aspiration.

According to TREM’s Corporate Services Director, Rev. Oluwayomi Uteh, the essay competition has helped some students develop an interest in research work, reading extensively, and writing constructively. She stated, “Aside from serving as a tool to encourage reading and writing, the competition has also provided students with the opportunity to express themselves on current issues that are important to the nation’s social-economic development.

“The essay competition has also helped to develop ICT in secondary schools, particularly those owned by the government. Over the years, winners have emerged from both public and private schools, and they have always been encouraged with various gifts and prizes.

This week, the 19th Mike Okonkwo National Essay Competition announced that entries from all Nigerian secondary school students will be accepted between April 8 and June 15, 2024.

According to Rev. Oluwayomi Uteh, the Church’s Corporate Services Director, this year’s competition will focus on “Nigeria’s Pathways: Diagnosis And Prescriptions.”

The 19th Mike Okonkwo National Essay Competition for Secondary School Students requires a maximum of 2000 words, a passport photograph of the student, full name, address, contact phone number, class, school, and the principal’s name and phone number. All essays should be submitted via email to [email protected] in Word document format.

This year, the star winner received N500,000.00 in cash, a trophy, and a plaque, and the school received a desktop computer. The first runner-up receives a cash prize of N250,000.00 along with a plaque, while the school is given a desktop computer. The second-place finisher gets N100,000 in cash and a plaque, while the school gets a desktop computer.

The competition is one of Dr Mike Okonkwo’s Corporate Social Responsibility activities, to raise the standard in the country’s educational sector while also sensitising students by developing their analytical and computer skills, allowing them to excel in their world by improving their ability to think through issues. In addition, activities are planned to commemorate Dr. Mike Okonkwo’s 79th birthday as Presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM).

Over time, the competition has proven to be very effective in reshaping students’ thought patterns and assisting them in developing problem-solving abilities.

The winners of this year’s competition will be announced at the Muson Centre (Shell Hall) on Thursday, September 5th, 2024, at 10 a.m. during the 23rd Mike Okonkwo Annual Lecture.

As the host of ‘Power in the Word,’ a life-changing television broadcast series that empowers people in Nigeria and around the world, Dr. Okonkwo’s Holy Spirit-inspired insight into God’s Word is truly outstanding. He also hosts “Power for the Wise,” a daily radio devotional programme that transforms people’s lives. He is also an author whose books have had a significant impact on the lives of those who have read them.

He is a man motivated by a desire to demonstrate God’s love for humanity in whatever way the Lord permits. This passion inspired the Empowerment for the Less Privileged Foundation, a non-governmental organisation dedicated to alleviating the plight of society’s less privileged through donations to hospitals, the establishment of free vocational training centres, the operation of free preparatory schools for secondary school students, and the facilitation of regular public enlightenment campaigns on health issues, among other activities. He also established a scholarship programme for gifted students. His strong faith and confidence in women and their potential earned him a seat on the board of Trustees of Women of Global Impact (WGI), a non-governmental organisation that, among other things, provides shelter to the homeless and organises free medical fairs for both men and women across the country.

To fulfil his contribution to national development, he established the Mike Okonkwo Annual Lecture in 2000. The lecture has evolved into an important contributor to government policies because it brings together experienced men and women to discuss pressing national issues. The Mike Okonkwo Essay Competition was also established to encourage secondary school students’ writing abilities and to help them become solution providers for the country. Today, the essay topic serves as the annual lecture topic.

In 2012, the Federal Government conferred upon him the National Honour of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (MFR). He is married to Bishop Peace Okonkwo, and they have a daughter, Uche.
