ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 1631 ರಲ್ಲಿ, ಖಾನ್ ಜಹಾನ್ ಲೋಡಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ದ್ವೇಷವು ಗೆದ್ದಿತು, ಷಾ ಜಹಾನ್ ಮುಮ್ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ನ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಅಗೆದು 435 ಮೈಲುಗಳು ಅಥವಾ 700 ಕಿಲೋಮೀಟರ್ಗಳಷ್ಟು ಆಗ್ರಾಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರು.

ಆಕೆಯ ವಾಪಸಾತಿಯು ಆಕೆಯ ಪಾರ್ಥಿವ ಶರೀರದ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಸೈನಿಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರ್ಗದುದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಶೋಕಾಚರಣೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಭವ್ಯ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಮುಮ್ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ನ ಅವಶೇಷಗಳು ಜನವರಿ 8, 1632 ರಂದು ಆಗ್ರಾವನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿದಾಗ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಲೀನ ರಾಜಾ ಜೈ ಸಿಂಗ್ ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಇದು ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಲಿರುವ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು.

ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು

ದುಃಖದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಷಹಜಹಾನ್, ತನ್ನ ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತೃತ ಮತ್ತು ದುಬಾರಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಸುರಿದು ಅದು ಮೊದಲು ಬಂದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಇದು ಮಹಿಳೆಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತವಾದ ಮೊದಲ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಇದು ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ.

ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್‌ಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ವಾಸ್ತುಶಿಲ್ಪಿ ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲವಾದರೂ, ಸ್ವತಃ ವಾಸ್ತುಶಿಲ್ಪದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲದ ಹಲವಾರು ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ವಾಸ್ತುಶಿಲ್ಪಿಗಳ ಇನ್‌ಪುಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದನೆಂದು ನಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ.

“ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಕಿರೀಟ” ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಸ್ವರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ಯಾವುದೇ ವೆಚ್ಚವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ

ಷಹಜಹಾನ್‌ನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊಘಲ್ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯವು ವಿಶ್ವದ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಇದರರ್ಥ ಈ ಸ್ಮಾರಕವನ್ನು ಹೋಲಿಸಲಾಗದಷ್ಟು ಭವ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವನು ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದನು.

ಆದರೆ ಅದು ಉಸಿರುಗಟ್ಟುವಂತಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಬಯಸಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅದನ್ನು ತ್ವರಿತವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಅವರು ಬಯಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆಯನ್ನು ವೇಗಗೊಳಿಸಲು, ಅಂದಾಜು 20,000 ಕೆಲಸಗಾರರನ್ನು ಕರೆತಂದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಮುಮ್ತಾಜಾಬಾದ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ನುರಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಕೌಶಲ್ಯರಹಿತ ಕುಶಲಕರ್ಮಿಗಳೆರಡನ್ನೂ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.

ಬಿಲ್ಡರ್‌ಗಳು ಮೊದಲು ಅಡಿಪಾಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ನಂತರ 624-ಅಡಿ ಉದ್ದದ ಸ್ತಂಭ ಅಥವಾ ಬೇಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್, ಎರಡನೇ ಸ್ತಂಭದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದು, ಅಮೃತಶಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ಆವೃತವಾದ ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾದ ಅಷ್ಟಭುಜಾಕೃತಿಯ ರಚನೆಯಾಗಬೇಕಿತ್ತು.

ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ, ಬಿಲ್ಡರ್‌ಗಳು ಎತ್ತರವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಸ್ಕ್ಯಾಫೋಲ್ಡಿಂಗ್ ಅನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಈ ಸ್ಕ್ಯಾಫೋಲ್ಡಿಂಗ್‌ಗಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆಗಳ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯು ಅಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಇತಿಹಾಸಕಾರರಿಗೆ ಗೊಂದಲವನ್ನುಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.

ಬಿಳಿ ಅಮೃತಶಿಲೆಯು ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್‌ನ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಬಳಸಿದ ಅಮೃತಶಿಲೆಯನ್ನು 200 ಮೈಲಿ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಕ್ರಾನಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ವಾರಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ವರದಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಕಟ್ಟಡದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಭಾರವಾದ ಅಮೃತಶಿಲೆಯನ್ನು ಎಳೆಯಲು 1,000 ಆನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ಎತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿತು.

ಬೃಹತ್ ಅಮೃತಶಿಲೆಯ ತುಣುಕುಗಳು ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್‌ನ ಎತ್ತರದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಲು, ದೈತ್ಯ, 10-ಮೈಲಿ ಉದ್ದದ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ರಾಂಪ್ ಅನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ 240 ಅಡಿಗಳಷ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾದ ಎರಡು-ಚಿಪ್ಪಿನ ಗುಮ್ಮಟದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಗ್ರಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಳಿ ಅಮೃತಶಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದೆ.

ನಾಲ್ಕು ತೆಳುವಾದ, ಬಿಳಿ ಅಮೃತಶಿಲೆಯ ಮಿನಾರ್‌ಗಳು ಎರಡನೇ ಸ್ತಂಭದ ಮೂಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರೆದಿವೆ.

ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಗ್ರಫಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ಲೇಡ್ ಹೂಗಳು

ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್‌ನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಿಳಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಇದು ನಿಜವಾದ ರಚನೆಯ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

ಈ ಕೆತ್ತಲಾದ ಪದ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಗ್ರಾಫರ್ ಅಮಾನತ್ ಖಾನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.

ಕುರಾನ್‌ನಿಂದ ಮುಗಿದ ಪದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಪ್ಪು ಅಮೃತಶಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆತ್ತಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವರು ಕಟ್ಟಡದ ಗಂಭೀರವಾದ ಆದರೆ ಮೃದುವಾದ ಲಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕಲ್ಲಿನಿಂದ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆಯಾದರೂ, ವಕ್ರಾಕೃತಿಗಳು ನಿಜವಾದ ಕೈಬರಹವನ್ನು ಅನುಕರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಖುರಾನ್‌ನ 22 ಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಅಮಾನತ್ ಖಾನ್ ಅವರೇ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಕುತೂಹಲಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ, ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿನ ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಲು ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ಅನುಮತಿಸಿದ ಏಕೈಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಅಮಾನತ್ ಖಾನ್.

ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣದ ಉದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಕಂಡುಬರುವ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾದ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ಹೂವುಗಳು ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಗ್ರಫಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಭಾವಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಪರ್ಚಿನ್ ಕರಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ , ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನುರಿತ ಕಲ್ಲು ಕಟ್ಟರ್‌ಗಳು ಬಿಳಿ ಅಮೃತಶಿಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣವಾದ ಹೂವಿನ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ನಂತರ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಅರೆ-ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಕೆತ್ತಿ ಹೆಣೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಬಳ್ಳಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹೂವುಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಹೂವುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ 43 ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅರೆ-ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವು ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಬಂದವು.

ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಲಂಕಾದಿಂದ ಲ್ಯಾಪಿಸ್ ಲಾಜುಲಿ , ಚೀನಾದಿಂದ ಜೇಡ್, ರಷ್ಯಾದಿಂದ ಮಲಾಕೈಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಟಿಬೆಟ್‌ನಿಂದ ವೈಡೂರ್ಯ ಸೇರಿವೆ .

ಇಸ್ಲಾಂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗದ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಯಾನವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ, ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಉದ್ಯಾನವು ಅದನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಸ್ವರ್ಗವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಅವಿಭಾಜ್ಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಕ್ಕೆ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ಉದ್ಯಾನವು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಚತುರ್ಭುಜಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.

ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಲ್ಕು “ನದಿಗಳು” ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ವಿಂಗಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ (ಸ್ವರ್ಗದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಇಸ್ಲಾಮಿಕ್ ಚಿತ್ರ) ಇದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಕೊಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಉದ್ಯಾನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನದಿಗಳು ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣವಾದ ಭೂಗತ ನೀರಿನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಯಮುನಾ ನದಿಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದವು. ದುರದೃಷ್ಟವಶಾತ್, ಈ ಉದ್ಯಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಖರವಾದ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಲು ಯಾವುದೇ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳು ಉಳಿದಿಲ್ಲ.

ಷಹಜಹಾನನ ಮರಣ

ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಆಳವಾದ ಶೋಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ನೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಮರಣದ ನಂತರ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಗುಣವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಇದು ಮುಮ್ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ಅವರ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಮಗ ಔರಂಗಜೇಬ್ ತನ್ನ ಮೂವರು ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಂದು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು.

ಚಕ್ರವರ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ 30 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ, 1658 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗ್ರಾದ ಐಷಾರಾಮಿ ಕೆಂಪು ಕೋಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ಅನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಹೊರಡಲು ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಲಾಯಿತು

ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಐಷಾರಾಮಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ತನ್ನ ಕೊನೆಯ ಎಂಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ಕಿಟಕಿಯಿಂದ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಕಳೆದರು.

ಜನವರಿ 22, 1666 ರಂದು ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ಮರಣಹೊಂದಿದಾಗ, ಔರಂಗಜೇಬ್ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಮ್ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ನ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಕ್ರಿಪ್ಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಕ್ರಿಪ್ಟ್‌ನ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್‌ನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಮಹಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗ ಎರಡು ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳು (ಖಾಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳು) ಇವೆ. ಕೋಣೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯಭಾಗವು ಮುಮ್ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್‌ಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದು ಮತ್ತು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮಕ್ಕೆ ಕೇವಲ ಷಹಜಹಾನ್‌ಗೆ ಸೇರಿದೆ.

ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾಗಿ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ, ಲ್ಯಾಸಿ ಮಾರ್ಬಲ್ ಪರದೆಯಿದೆ. ಮೂಲತಃ ಇದು ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪರದೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು ಆದರೆ ಕಳ್ಳರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕದಿಯಲು ಪ್ರಲೋಭನೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗದಂತೆ ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ಅದನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿದರು.

ಭಾರತದ ಆಗ್ರಾ ನಗರದ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣ, ಮೊದಲು ನಮಗೆ ನೆನಪಾಗುವುದೆ ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್. ಬಿಳಿ ಅಮೃತಶಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಈ ಅರಮನೆ ಅನಂತ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿದೆ. ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ಮೊಘಲ್ ದೊರೆ ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ. ಇದು ವಿಶ್ವದ ಏಳು ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ತಾಣವೆಂದು ಯುನೆಸ್ಕೋ 1983 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಂಪರೆಯೆಂದು ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತು ಮೆಚ್ಚುವ “ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಮಾನವ ಕೃತಿ” ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ತಾಜ್‌ಮಹಲ್ ಇತಿಹಾಸ :

ತಾಜ್‌ಮಹಲ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಶ್ರೇಯಸ್ಸು ಐದನೇ ಮೊಘಲ್ ದೊರೆ ಷಹಜಹಾನ್‌ಗೆ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ 1628 ರಿಂದ 1658 ರವರೆಗೆ ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ಆಳಿದರು. ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಮುಮ್ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ನೆನಪಿಗಾಗಿ ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ. ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ಅನ್ನು “ಮುಮ್ತಾಜ್ ಸಮಾಧಿ” ಎಂದೂ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮುಮ್ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ಅವರ ಮರಣದ ನಂತರ, ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ಬಹಳ ಅಸಹನೀಯರಾದರು. ನಂತರ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿಡಲು ಪತ್ನಿಯ ನೆನಪಿಗಾಗಿ ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದರು. 1631 ರ ನಂತರವೇ ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿತು ಮತ್ತು 1632 ರಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿತು. ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಬಹಳ ಸಮಯ ಹಿಡಿಯಿತು. ಈ ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವು 1643 ರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅದನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಸುಮಾರು ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿತು. ಇಡೀ ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ಅನ್ನು 1653 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 320 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಯಿತು, ಇದು ಇಂದು 52.8 ಬಿಲಿಯನ್ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ. ಮೊಘಲ್ ಕುಶಲಕರ್ಮಿ ಉಸ್ತಾದ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಲಾಹೋರಿ ಅವರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ 20,000 ಕುಶಲಕರ್ಮಿಗಳು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಇದರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ನಂತರ, ಷಹಜಹಾನ್ ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕುಶಲಕರ್ಮಿಗಳ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖವಿದೆ.

ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ರಚನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವರೂಪ :

ತಾಜ್ ಮಹಲ್ ನ ವಾಸ್ತುಶಿಲ್ಪವು ಪರ್ಷಿಯಾ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಮೊಘಲ್ ಕಲೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಸ್ಮಾರಕವು 42 ಎಕರೆಗಳಷ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಣವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ, ಮೂರು ಬದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೆನೆಲೇಟೆಡ್ ಗೋಡೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಮುನಾದಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ರಾಜಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ಪಡೆದ ಬಿಳಿ ಮಕ್ರಾನಾ ಮಾರ್ಬಲ್ ಬಳಸಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸ್ಮಾರಕದ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಬೆಲೆಬಾಳುವ ಮತ್ತು ಅರೆಬೆಲೆಯ ರತ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಬಳಸಲಾಯಿತು.

19ನೇ ಶತಮಾನ ಅಂತ್ಯದ ವೇಳೆಗೆ, ದುರಸ್ತಿ ಮಾಡದ ಕಾರಣ ಕಟ್ಟಡದ ಕೆಲವು ಭಾಗಗಳು ಕುಸಿದು ಬಿದ್ದವು. 1857ರ ಭಾರತದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಂಗೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷ್‌ ಸೈನಿಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸರಕಾರಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಾಜ್‌ ಮಹಲ್‌ನ ಗೋಡೆಗಳಿಂದ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ರತ್ನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಲ್ಯಾಪಿಸ್‌ ಲಜುಲಿಯನ್ನು ಮೋಸದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು. ಇದರಿಂದ ತಾಜ್‌ ಮಹಲ್‌ನ ಅಂದ ಹಾಳಾಯಿತು. 19ನೇ ಶತಮಾನದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷ್‌ ವೈಸ್‌ರಾಯ್‌ ಲಾರ್ಡ್‌ ಕರ್ಜನ್‌‌ ಭಾರಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀರ್ಣೋದ್ಧಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದನು. ಅದು 1908ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಅವನು ಕೈರೊ ಮಸೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದೀಪದ ಮಾದರಿಯ ದೀಪವನ್ನು ಒಳಾಂಗಣ ಕೋಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿರಿಸಲು ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದನು. ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನ್ನು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಇರುವ ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷ್‌-ಶೈಲಿಯ ಹುಲ್ಲುಹಾಸುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Taj Mahal Essay

The Taj Mahal is one of the most beautiful and well-known historical sites. It is situated in the Uttar Pradesh city of Agra. It is in a spacious area with a river on the backside. It appears to be a sight from nature. It seems to be heaven on earth. It is constructed from white marble. Every year, it draws tourists from all around the world. The Taj Mahal represents the enduring love of Shah Jahan, who erected it in honour of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The monument is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It serves as the famous Empress Mumtaz Mahal's mausoleum.

About Taj Mahal

The world-famous Taj Mahal was created because of the vision of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. After she passed away, he built this monument in honour of his devoted wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

In honour of his beloved wife, Shah Jahan hired the best artisans worldwide to build it. He was going to make something that had never been done before. The emperor desired to give his beloved wife one last present. People still praise Shah Jahan for his fantastic deed. It encourages you to value and cherish love in new ways. We may also see how the bodies of the immortal lovers are interred beneath the tomb. Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan were buried close to one another and remained there after death for a very long time.

My Experience with Taj Mahal

On the day of the full moon in October of this year, I went to the Taj Mahal with a few of my schoolmates. The silvery moonlight glistening everywhere and glamorising the Taj brings out the best in its splendour. Greenery and flowerbeds nicely adorn the area around it. I was ecstatic to visit the Taj. Hundreds of men, women, and kids gathered to admire the Taj's magnificence. There were sizable groups of foreigners arriving. We also clicked many pictures in front of the monument.

A Symbol of Love

The Taj Mahal was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983 and is regarded as one of the most exquisite structural compositions in the entire world. After Mumtaz Mahal passed away, Shah Jahan erected the Taj Mahal in her honour and as a memorial. According to legend, Shah Jahan gave his wife the Taj Mahal as a gift. It is regarded as a representation of love and the tie between a husband and wife. It's interesting to note that the Taj Mahal is thought to represent Mumtaz's various emotions because it appears pinkish in the morning, milky white in the evening, and golden when the moon is out.

When Shah Jahan's wife was alive, he made her four vows. These commitments include constructing the Taj, getting remarried, going to the grave on each anniversary of his passing, and being kind to his kids. After two years, he decided to erect a memorial in her honour. Therefore, he decided to create a unique monument that had never been built before. With the help of 20,000 workers, he made the Taj Mahal—turning his vision into reality. The Taj Mahal's construction took 22 years to complete. Additionally, it was said that Shah Jahan had all 20,000 labourers' hands amputated to prevent them from ever again constructing monuments of this nature.

My Visit to Taj Mahal

A trip to a historical site is always a thrilling adventure. It is an exciting journey. During my recent summer vacation, when I visited Agra, I had one such encounter. I took the train to get to Agra with my family. After a short period of recovery, we started our sight seeing tour. Agra has a rich history. In India, numerous stunning historical sites are worth visiting. The most spectacular of all, though, is the Taj Mahal in Agra. First, we went to the Taj Mahal. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan erected the Taj Mahal 350 years ago as a tribute to his beloved queen Mumtaj. It is situated along the Yamuna River's bank.

On all sides, it appeared white and identical. Green glass tufts and hot Cyprus tree shoots enhanced its majestic majesty. We descended the stairs and under the dome, in a dim room, we discovered the king and queen's graves. The side walls were ornamented with bits of glass in various colours and Quranic couplets. Each of the four minarets at the major buildings served as a watchman.

We finished our tour of the Taj Mahal at about noon and left the area. My journey to the Taj Mahal was a lot of fun. It was a unique event that, in addition to being intellectually stimulating, provided us with a taste of our nation's great heritage.
